Civil problem, 12:19 a.m.: An officer assisted a person in the police department lobby who had custodial issues.

Criminal mischief, 8:42 a.m.: Bud Cross Park.

Dispute, 11:24 a.m.: 200 block of Cypress Street.

Suspicious conditions, 1:58 p.m.: 15900 block of Oceanview Drive.

Fire, 2:05 p.m.: 97800 block of Titus Lane.

Misuse of 911, 2:30 p.m.: Brookings area.

Harassment, 4:00 p.m.: A man was disturbing people with suggestive hand gestures in the 300 block of Fifth Street.

Fight, 4:34 p.m.: Mutual combat between two teenagers in the 1100 block of Ransom Avenue was resolved with handshake and apology.

Dispute, 5:21 p.m.: 15600 block of Highway 101 South.

Minor possess liquor, 10:35 p.m.: Several citations were issued for minor in possession at a party in the 600 block of Easy Street.

Criminal mischief, 11:50 p.m.: Vehicles were egged in the 600 block of Hassett Street.

Fight, 11:53 p.m.: A fight between two males was reported in the 200 block of South Hazel Street. The victim did not want to press charges.

 

Saturday, Feb. 7

Traffic crash, 12:08 a.m.: The entry gate to Macklyn Cove was damaged by a vehicle that left the scene.

Disorderly conduct, 1:28 a.m.: A 29-year-old man was arrested in the 200 block of South Hazel Street.

Suspicious conditions, 3:20 a.m.: 400 block of Maple Street.

Assist public, 10:31 a.m.: Restraining order issues on House Rock Road.

Theft, 11:52 a.m.: The theft of merchandise from a sales booth was reported in the 600 block of Chetco Avenue.

Theft, 12:44 p.m.: A 47-year-old Tacoma, Wash., man was arrested for theft of beer and cigarettes from a Chetco Avenue business.

Suspicious conditions, 2:01 p.m.: A man and woman heard screaming and yelling behind business in the 1100 block of Chetco Avenue.

Animal complaint, 3:10 p.m.: A Marina Heights resident reported seeing a cougar cross in front of his vehicle around 9:30 a.m.

DUII, 6:28 p.m.: A 36-year-old woman arrested for driving under the influence on Chetco Avenue.

Harassment, 6:28 p.m.: A mother reported her daughter was being harassed by a Brookings man.

Fight, 7:06 p.m.: A 45-year-old Brookings man was arrested for assault in the 400 block of Pine Street.

Drug information, 7:12 p.m.: Report of marijuana use in the 600 block of Chetco Avenue.

Traffic crash, 8:13 p.m.: south of Lone Ranch. No injury.

Loud noise, 10:41 p.m.: Loud music was reported in the 500 block of Ransom Avenue.

 

Sunday, Feb. 8

Information, 7:11 a.m.: A man called police to report that the same song had been playing on the radio for 20 minutes. A check of the radio station found all was OK there.

Theft, 9:22 a.m.: A woman reported a plant in a decorative clay pot was stolen off her porch in the 800 block of Jodee Lane sometime during the night.

Suspicious conditions, 10:30 a.m. Debris from demolished building was blocking a bike path on Railroad Street near Willow Street.

Stalking, 10:50 a.m.: Ken’s Tavern.

Criminal mischief, 8:48 p.m.: Someone put Superglue on the door handle of a vehicle in the 400 block of Spruce Street.

Animal complaint, 10:50 p.m.: A cougar was sighted in the Azalea Park lower parking lot.

 

Monday, Feb. 9

Criminal mischief, 9:39 a.m.: An estimated loss of $300 was reported at KidTown.

Criminal mischief, 10:51 a.m.: Damage to a parked vehicle was reported in the 1300 block of Seacrest Lane.

Theft, 1:51 p.m.: An employee theft from a business was reported in the 800 block of Chetco Avenue.

Dispute, 5:17 p.m.: Verbal dispute in the 700 block of Chetco Avenue.

Juvenile problem, 6:12 p.m.: A parent requested assistance with out-of-control teenager in the 300 block of Del Norte Lane.
