Sheila Kay Lively

Sheila Kay Lively, 49, Anchorage, Alaska, died May 31, 2000, of cancer at the Ageless Care Facility in Anchorage.

She was born June 27, 1950, in Crescent City to Robert and June Lively.

She was a long time resident of Brookings and a granddaughter of Victor and Elsie Andersons pioneer family.

She attended Brookings-Harbor schools graduating in 1968. She worked in the family owned lily business until she moved to Kodiak, Alaska, in 1976.

She eventually moved to Ouzinke, Alaska, where she worked in the fishing industry as a boat hand early on and later worked as a child care provider.

She will always be remembered for her quick wit, loyal friendship and firm determination to live her life as she saw fit, family members said.

Survivors are daughter Nechelle Robicheaux, Baton Rogue, La.; father and step-mother Robert and Dorothy Lively, St. George, Utah; brother and sister-in-law Harold and Nancy Victors, Anchorage, Alaska; brother and sister-in-law Ron and Debbie Lively and niece Larra Lively, all of Seward, Alaska.

Preceding her in death were mother June Penter and grandparents Victor and Elsie Anderson.

Inurnment will be at the Hunter Creek Pioneer Cemetery in Gold Beach.
