Wylda Belle Dade, 82, Smith River, died Aug. 24, 2000.

She was born Feb. 24, 1918, in Walden, N.Y., to Belle Carr and Arthur S. Parker.

She was a dedicated student of theosophy.

Survivors are husband Wendell (Bill) Dade; children Daniel, Diane and Mark.

Also surviving are four grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

Arrangements were under the direction of Wiers Mortuary Chapel in Crescent City.
