Jan MacKell Collins, author of 10 books about the history of the western United States, will speak from 5:30 to 7 p.m. at the Curry Public Library, 94341 Third St., Gold Beach. Copies of her books will be available for purchase.

Brown Bag Thursday takes place from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. at The Snug Studio in the upper level of Brian Scott Gallery, 515 Chetco Ave., Brookings. Bring a lunch and enjoy art with music by Billy Kidd. From 12:30 to 1, Pete Chasar entertains with his talks about all things art.

Brookings Harbor Community Theater presents “Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs” at 7 p.m. at the Chetco Grange Community Center, 97895 Shopping Center Ave., Harbor. Additional shows are 7 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 3, and 2 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 4, as well as the following weekend.
