Brookings police responded to the report of three unresponsive people in a vehicle in the Fred Meyer parking lot Thursday morning, and arrested all of them on outstanding warrants.

The three were found to be safe, but the vehicle they were in had been reported stolen from Crescent City.

Arrested were Cassandra Jean Rhodes, 29, of Smith River, on an outstanding warrant for unauthorized use of a motor vehicle from Linn County; Justin William Sager, 25, of Crescent City, for possession of burglary tools and drug paraphernalia, obstruction of justice, disorderly conduct and a probation violation for a weapons offense out of Del Norte County; and Robert Jerymi Sinnott, 39, of Crescent City, on an outstanding warrant for failing to appear in court on charges of possession of dangerous drugs and first- and second-degree theft from Deschutes County.

Officers searching the vehicle found drug paraphernalia, stolen property and suspected stolen property, police said. The investigation is continuing and additional charges are expected to be filed, said Brookings Police Chief Chris Wallace.

The three were arrested and lodged in the Curry County Jail.
