The following are Thanksgiving feasts offered between Gold Beach and Crescent City on Thursday, Nov. 23.
The annual Free Thanksgiving Dinner sponsored by Curry Fair Friends is scheduled from noon to 3 p.m. at the Event Center on the Beach, 29392 Ellensburg Ave, Gold Beach.
This event is open to all. Nearly 500 attended last year’s event.
Organizers are looking for volunteers to assist with set-up, serving, greeting and cleaning up.
Turkeys, hams, canned food items or financial contributions are appreciated.

Del Norte fairgrounds
The 26th annual Community Thanksgiving Dinner from noon to 2 p.m. at the Del Norte County Fairgrounds, 421 Highway 101 N., Crescent City.
The free dinner features turkey with all the trimmings, including stuffing, potatoes, gravy, green beans, yams and pies and other desserts from local bakeries.
Food and monetary donations are welcome; volunteers are needed to help serve. For more information, call 707-464-9501.
A Thanksgiving potluck will be served at 1 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 23, at Brookings-Harbor Christian Church, 777 Fifth St., Brookings.
The church will be open prior to lunch for fellowship. Bring a dish to share, but everyone is welcome regardless, according to organizer Cheryll Grear.

Chetco Activity Center hosts a homemade Thanksgiving dinner fundraiser in its lunchroom at 550 Chetco Lane in Brookings.
Roast turkey, dressing, mashed potatoes, gravy, green beans, rolls and dessert will be served.
Meals will be served at 11:30 a.m. and 12:30 p.m. Tickets are $14 in advance at the Chetco Activity Center or $16 at the door. Proceeds benefit the Meals on Wheels program. For more information, call 541-469-6822.
