An empty warehouse in Harbor will become a circus of chills and thrills when the Chetco Pelican Players’ haunted house opens Friday, Oct. 20.
The warehouse is at the corner of Highway 101 South and East Hoffeldt Lane.
Those who dare to attend will be guided through 21,000 square feet of clown peril, down endless side paths where they will find beasts, bums and brutes in some of the darkest mazes ever created where circus acrobats retire from among the living.
Once again, this deranged monstrosity of a show is presented by Maven of Mayhem Claire Willard in conjunction with the Chetco Pelican Players. Those few who survive the demented tour of insane depravity will receive treats, soft drinks and heaping helpings of Claire’s “Grindhouse Chili” in the “Freakshow Beastro.”
Shows are Oct. 20, 21, 22, 27, 28, 29, 30 and 31. The haunt is open from 7 to 11 p.m. Fridays, Saturdays and Halloween, and 7 to 10 p.m. Sundays and Monday.
Admission at the door is $10 per head.
Anyone interested in acting in the show can call Willard at 541-661-3239. Actors must be 16 or older.
