The Brookings-Harbor area was well represented as four area runners finished in the top three of their respective classes at this past weekend's annual Redwood Wild River Run east of Crescent City.
Ally Manley won the women's 20-29 age group in the 15-kilometer race with a time of 1:05:29.
On the men's side, three Brookings area long-distance runners finished second in their class at the 5-kilometer race.
Tony Ameson finished second in the 30-39 age group with a time of 26:07.96.
Ken Landau ran a 23:07.16 to finish second in the 40-49 group.
Finally, Dan Brattain placed second in the 50-59 group with a time of 27:33.54.
Not too shabby considering they were running against a record field of 272 competitors.
