It wasn't simple, but the Brookings-Harbor High School boys and girls basketball teams claimed dual victories on the road at Douglas High School.

Lady Bruins defeat Trojans 50-42

The Lady Bruins led every quarter but the second and it was enough to defeat the Douglas Trojans 50-42 and move into a tie with the Trojans for second place in the Far West League.

Athena Farr and Iva Hart both finished with 11 points, while Mallory McDonald and Drew Farmer finished with eight each.

Boys team defeats Trojans 57-44

The Bruins opened their game with a 8-0 run in the first quarter that set the stage for a lead they would never lose as the boys team defeated the Trojans 57-44.

The Bruins shot 7-of-13 from the free throw line in the win.

The girls JV won their game 59-28, and the boys JV won 54-33 to sweep the Trojans.
