The Brookings-Harbor High School boys' soccer team played to a 0-0 draw Tuesday afternoon in an away game against the Sutherlin Bulldogs.

In a game dominated by stellar defensive play on both sides, the Bruins (2-1-1) had their chances, but were unable to put the ball in the goal.

andquot;It was a good game,andquot; Coach Gabe Anaya said. andquot;Our passing was good and we had a lot more opportunities than them. Both goalie's just had really good games.andquot;

With the help of the young Bruin defense, junior Gabe Anaya recorded his first shutout of the year in goal.

andquot;They played a lot better than last week,andquot; Anaya said. andquot;Now we're ready to go back home and play well.andquot;

On Thursday, the Bruins will be playing a home game for the first time in two weeks.

They will take on the North Bend Bulldogs at 4:30 p.m., with the JV squad playing beforehand at 3 p.m.
