Jack B. Feeney, of Brookings, passed away Aug. 17, 2014, in Crescent City, California. He was 89 years old.

Jack was born March 23,1925, in Los Angeles, California, to Jack and Bernice (Harnden) Feeney.

On New Year's Eve of 1949, Jack married Jessie L. Williams in Seattle, Washington, and together they had three children.

Jack worked for more than 30 years as a professional forester, and was head of the forestry department of Agnew Timber Products before he retired.

In his free time, he enjoyed fishing, camping, gardening, and other outdoor activities.

Jack is survived by his wife Jessie; daughter Jessie Rene and her husband Dale of Fortuna, California; son Mars Feeney and his wife Kim Meyer of Smith River, California; daughter Bernice Jones and her husband Marshall of Smith River. Also surviving are seven grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
