Terrie Lee Higgins Noller

Nov. 23, 1944-March 12, 2014

Terrie Lee Higgins Noller died March 12, 2014, at the Chetco Inn in Brookings.

Terrie was born Nov. 23, 1944, in Fort Dodge, Iowa.

When she was 2, her foster family relocated to Klamath Falls, where she lived until she was 20.

Terrie wandered throughout Southern California for 20 years before returning to Klamath Falls. She moved to Brookings in 1998.

Terrie always enjoyed whatever phase of accounting she was involved in, having started her "bookkeeping" under her father's tutelage when she was 10. She had an accounting and tax preparation business in Brookings prior to her 2009 illness.

She loved the arts and Second Saturday Art Walks. She was a fan of photography and has, in past years, exhibited in Brookings, Klamath Falls, Medford and Crescent City.

She was one of the "McDonald's Mafia," and relished handling world affairs with the group.

Terrie died a sober member of one of those anonymous organizations, having celebrated 12 years of sobriety on April 1, 2013.

She is survived by her son Dan Gilder, his wife Sandra and daughter Erica and son Eric of Bend; son Needham-Magidson, and his children Dawson and Talya of Bend. Also surviving are her former husbands Kenneth Gilder of Redmond and Jack Noller of Klamath Falls.

She was preceded in death by her foster parents Harland and Florence Robinson; and her husbands Norman Needham and Fred Magidson.

At her request there will be no memorial.
