Elma Lisa Wilson, 74, Brookings, died Feb. 1, 2002.
She was born Dec. 3, 1927, in Ada, Okla., to Ezekiel and Marie Chriss.
Elma married James Riley Wilson June 21, 1953, in Red Bluff, Calif. They lived in and around Red Bluff for more than 25 years and raised five children. They moved to Crescent City in 1974, then to Brookings in 1977.
Mrs. Wilson was a member of the Calvary Temple Church in Red Bluff. She attended services at the Lighthouse Assembly of God while living in Brookings. She was an evangelist for Jesus Christ and was active in volunteer work.
She is survived by sons, Joseph Wilson of Payette, Idaho; James Wilson and Phillip Wilson of Brookings; daughters, Lisa Wopschall and Patricia Lynn Wilson; sister, Lorraine Norton of Cottonwood, Calif.; brother, Darce Chriss of Redding.
She is also survived by 19 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband in 1999; son, David Paul Wilson in 1964, and brother, Clois Corky Chriss in 1978.
A memorial service will be Sunday, Feb. 3 at Lighthouse Assembly of God Church, Highway 101 South.
A funeral service will be Saturday, Feb. 9, at Hoyte Cole Chapel of Flowers in Red Bluff.
