A warning for low-elevation snow and ice remains in effect through Thursday morning.

The National Weather Service says the entire region could expect snow levels to fall to 1,000 feet, and possibly as low as 500 feet, which may cause hazardous con ditions on highways leading to and from Brookings-Harbor.

Snow accumulations could reach 1 to 2 inches before the storm passes through. The warning is in effect through noon Thursday.
