GOLD BEACH Voters must register by Tuesday to vote in the May 15 election for the public safety levy offered by Sheriff Kent Owens.

Curry County Clerk Renee Kolen said, Voter registration cards are available here at your County Clerks Elections Office, but we also have cards available at post offices, banks, libraries, the Department of Motor Vehicles, or on-line at

Our goal is to make it as convenient as possible for people who wish to register or even change their registration.

If you are mailing, please be sure to mail the new registration two or three days in advance so it reaches us by the deadline.

Ballot packets will be mailed between Friday and May 1. Kolen advised voters who havent received their ballots by May 7 to contact the elections office at (541) 247-7011, extension 223.
