Brookings-Harbor High School students rattle tin cans full of pennies, blow on horns and yell at the top of their lungs during Fridays homecoming week Noise Parade.

Students had shown pride all week by participating in several events, from Pajama Day and a bonfire to a Powder Puff Football Game and a formal dance planned for Saturday, Oct. 20.

Friday started with seniors working on community projects in the annual Bruin Day effort, and ended with a football victory over over Siuslaw High in front of a large homecoming crowd.

See the Sports for the game story and Feature of the Week section for story on the weeks homecoming activities.
