A landslide on Highway 199, about nine miles south of the California-Oregon border, is limiting traffic on the highway to one-way traffic this evening.
The slide occurred at 4 p.m. Thursay, with about 500 cubic yards of material falling, and was still active at 6 p.m. Caltrans warned that intermittent closures may continue, with no estimate of when the highway will return to two-way traffic.
