More than 2,000 people attended the 25th annual Home and Garden Show last weekend at Kalmiopsis Elementary School in Brookings.

Guests visited with 49 exhibitors - each had a booth that showed people what they offered. Businesses ranged from those offering home improvement, furniture, security, cleaning, pest control, financing and more.

"The majority of the exhibitors were engaging and knowledgeable about their products and services," said Arlis Steele, Brookings-Harbor Chamber of Commerce president and CEO.

Many of the exhibitors called the show a success based on estimates, leads, sales, and community interest, Steele said.

"I am looking forward to making some necessary revisions to the show in the future," Steele said. "We have some wonderful ideas on how to grow the show and gain community interest and are excited for what's to come."

One change Steele mentioned that she would like to have changed was for the appetite.

"I do wish we had food."
