Head Coach Steve Bonde had words of praise for each of his players as he presented Far West League All-League honors and varsity letter certificates to the members of the BHHS varsity softball team at Tuesday night’s softball banquet.

Members of the team receiving their varsity letter included team manager Easton Scaggs, seniors Mariah Baron and Kayla Webre; juniors Morgan Early, Mimi Fernandez, Samantha Henry, Megan Strain, Alaura Marrington, Mariahn Seavello, Hannah Baron and Hannah Goergen and sophomore Courtney Kay.

FWL All-League Honorable Mention team honors went to catcher Marrington, shortstop Hannah Baron and center fielder Webre.

Second Team honors went to third baseman Strain, starting pitcher Kay and second baseman Seavello.

The lone First Team All League honor went to starting pitcher Hannah Goergen.

“It feels pretty good,” Goergen said. “It means a lot to me that I got recognized by the other teams in the league.”

The Bruins finished the season third in the Far West League with a league record of 9-6 (13-11 overall.)
