The Brookings-Harbor High School boys soccer team was able to put another notch in the win column Tuesday after defeating the Douglas Trojans 4-1.

The Bruins started the game quickly on offense with Thomas Spratt dribbling the tip off downfield and centering a pass for a goal by Alan Anaya at the 15 second mark.

The second goal was a shot by Spratt that drilled through the goalies hands to score. Spratt received a clearing pass from defender Pete Peterson and shot from 25 yards out.

At the end of the first half, Luis Rodriguez put a header in the goal on a pass by Anaya to make it 3-0 headed into the break.

The Bruins final goal came with only a minute left as Chandler Gotfried scored on a Bruin corner kick. Gotfried had his first shot blocked but followed, and put the rebound in the goal.

According to assistant coach Peter Spratt, the Bruins outshot the Trojans something close to 15-4 for the contest.

The Bruins look to continue their Far West League win streak on Thursday as they host the Bulldogs of Sutherlin at 4 p.m.
