Sunday, Feb. 12 Hazard, 7 p.m.: Cows were reported in the roadway near Reinhart Creek. Wednesday, Feb. 15 Non-injury traffic crash, 6:25 a.m.: A 65-year-old driver was northbound on Highway 101 south of Humbug Mountain when he hit ice and slid into a guardrail. Non-injury traffic crash, 7:37 a.m.: A 56-year-old Coos Bay woman was southbound on Highway 101 near Langlois when she lost control of her vehicle because of icy conditions and struck a guardrail. Injury traffic crash, 6:55 a.m.: A motorist lost control of her vehicle on an icy roadway and struck a guardrail on Highway 101 at Stateline Road. The driver was transported to Sutter Coast Hospital. Non-injury traffic crash, 6:59 a.m.: A motorist lost control of his vehicle on an icy roadway and struck a guardrail on Highway 101 near the Winchuck River bridge. Non-injury traffic crash, 7:45 a.m.: A car slid off Highway 101 because of icy conditions. Non-injury traffic crash, 9:05 a.m.: Witnesses reported seeing a vehicle swerving all over the road before crashing into several mailboxes on the side of Highway 101 at Benham Lane. The 68-year-old Brookings driver was not injured but transported to Sutter Coast Hospital for medical reasons. Criminal mischief, 9:36 a.m.: A vehicle was spray painted while parked at a residence.
