Thursday, Jan. 7

Assault, 9:20 a.m.: 600 block of Fifth Street.

Theft, 9:44 a.m.: 900 block of Seventh Street.

Theft, 12:47 p.m.: 900 block of Parkview Drive.

Criminal mischief, 7:59 p.m.: 500 block of Fern Street.

Friday, Jan. 8

Assault, 12:24 a.m.: 500 block of Railroad Street.

Traffic crash, no injury, 1:13 a.m.: Azalea Park.

Theft, 7:30 a.m.: Four miles up North Bank Chetco River Road.

Suspicious conditions, 9:34 a.m.: At KidTown in Azalea Park.

Juvenile Problem, 7:21 p.m.: Spruce  and Fern streets.

Suspicious conditions, 7:48 p.m.: 800 block of Highland Avenue.

Prowler, 11:29 p.m.: 17300 block of North Passley Road.

Saturday, Jan. 9

DUII, 1:05 a.m.: A 35-  year-old Central Point male was arrested in the 600 block of Fifth Street.

Criminal mischief, 1:50 a.m.: Once again vandals found it humorous to block off Highway 101 with pylons from the Constitution Way construction site on Highway 101.

Found property, 7:21 a.m.:  Bicycle found at the Harris Beach south parking lot and turned in to police. 1600 block of Highway 101.

Child abuse, 9:52 a.m.: 1100 block of Chetco Avenue.

Animal complaint, 11:33 a.m.: Police checked on a report of a dog being kept in a vehicle for days at a time without food and water in the 400 block of Mill Beach Road. An assessment of the situation was forwarded to Animal Control.

Suspicious conditions, 2:01 p.m.: A woman in the 700 block of Second Street reported an intoxicated male pounding on her door. When contacted, the man said he was looking for the apartment complex manager.

Information, 4:27 p.m.: The police lines lit up with people reporting feeling the earthquake whose epicenter was later discovered to be about 33 miles off the coast of Eureka, Calif. It was reported there at a magnitude of 6.5.

Fight, 4:51 p.m.: 15700 block of Highway 101.

Vehicle, repossessed, 6:30 p.m.: 800 block of Third Street.

Criminal mischief, 7:58 p.m.: A woman reported someone threw a rock at her car in Sunshine Cove Mobile Home Park. 

Found property, 9:33 a.m.:  600 block of Fifth Street.

Sunday, Jan. 10

Suspicious conditions, 12:58 a.m.: Sporthaven Beach.

Shots fired, 10:10 p.m.: Easy Street at Pioneer Road.
