Non-injury vehicle accident, 8:12 a.m.: Non-injury traffic crash that occurred in the county was reported to Brookings Police Department.
Runaway, 9:27 a.m.: 600 block of Easy Street.
Unauthorized use of a vehicle, 10:32 a.m.: Highway 101 and Winchuck River Road.
Unauthorized use of a vehicle, 11:04 a.m.: Vehicle stolen from a residence in the 15800 block of Wenborne Lane.
Unauthorized use of a vehicle, 11:21 p.m.: Vehicle stolen from a residence in the 500 block of Fir Street was located a short time after it was reported missing.
Recovery of a stolen vehicle, 12:01 p.m.: Stolen vehicle recovered near Manley Art Center.
Warrant service, 2:46 p.m.: An adult male was arrested on Mill Beach on a warrant and transported to Curry County Jail.
Threats, 3:04 p.m.: Threats between children in the 400 block of Fern Avenue were investigated and referred to Department of Human Services.
Unlawful entry of a vehicle, 3:21 p.m.: Cash and other items were stolen from a vehicle in the 500 block of Chetco Avenue.
Unauthorized use of a vehicle, 3:36 p.m.: Multiple items were stolen from a vehicle in the 500 block of Fir Street.
Criminal trespass, 5:43 p.m.: A female transient was making unwanted contact with guests at a motel in the 1200 block of Chetco Avenue.
Criminal trespass, 6:16 p.m.: A couple checked into a room at a motel in the 1200 block of Chetco Avenue then proceeded to break all the rules. Officers told the guests to leave after providing them an opportunity to gather their belongs.
Criminal trespass, 6:44 p.m.: A citizen reported a transient male who had been ordered to stay away from a local church was there causing trouble and refusing to leave. Officers spoke to the pastor, who said the person had not been given an order to stay away from the church. However, the subject in question moved along voluntarily.
Lost property, 6:57 p.m.: 300 block of Fifth Street.
Missing person, 9:28 p.m.: A woman who had been reported missing in Fortuna, Calif., showed up at Brookings Police Department to report she is alive and well and in the process of moving to Brookings.
Thursday, Oct. 3
Suspicious conditions, 12:03 p.m.: A driver pulled over in an odd location to take a phone call in the 1000 block of Chetco Avenue. No crime.
Suspicious conditions, 6:51 a.m.: Wharf Street.
Dispute/fight, 10:33 a.m.: A verbal dispute was reported in the 7700 block of Zoe Drive. An officer responded and ensured that the parties would separate from each other for the time being.
Forgery/fraud/bad check, 11:41 a.m.: A citizen was a victim of fraud in the 500 block of Fir street.
Lost property, 2:19 p.m.: A citizen reported lost identification in the Brookings area.
Found property, 2:52 p.m.: Keys found at Azalea Park were turned into the lost and found drawer at Brookings Police.
Non-Injury vehicle accident, 3:09 p.m.: A traffic crash handled by sheriff’s office and Harbor Fire at Lower Harbor Road and Highway 101.
Non-injury vehicle accident, 5:10 p.m.: Parties involved in a two-vehicle accident at Pacific Avenue and Pioneer Road exchanged information and were advised to submit a DMV accident report.
Reckless driving, 6:36 p.m.: A vehicle described in a reckless driving complaint was not located by officers on Highway southbound from Carpenterville Road.
Warrant service, 8 p.m.: An adult male with a warrant was observed walking in the 600 block of Chetco Avenue and was arrested without incident on the confirmed warrant. He was also question as a person of interest in recent car thefts from the area.
Disorderly conduct, 11:47 p.m.: 16200 block of Highway 101.
