Fire, 9:11 a.m.: Harbor Fire Department responded to the 14400 block of Highway 101. 

Theft of services, 10:34 a.m.: 1100 block of Chetco Avenue. 

Theft of service 1:42 p.m.: 1100 block of Chetco Avenue. 

Harassment, 1:45 p.m.: 600 block of Pioneer Road. 

Theft, 2:53 p.m.: 1200 block of Iris Street. 

Suspicious conditions, 4:27 p.m.: Just north of Cape Ferrelo turnout. 

Counterfeit, 6:23 p.m.: Reported at the Brookings Police Department.

Suspicious conditions, 10:25 a.m.: 900 block of Wharf Street. 

Lost property, 11:02 a.m.: Brookings. 

Injury traffic crash, 11:10 a.m.: Winchuck River Road.

Injury traffic crash, 3:59 p.m.: 16200 block of Highway 101. 

Missing person, 7:27 p.m.: Brookings area. 

Fight, 10:19 p.m.: 600 block of Hassett Street. 


Saturday, May 22 

Violation of city ordinance, 8:43 a.m.: A truck and boat was parked on Frontage Road with a for sale sign posted. A note was left for the owner that it was a violation of city ordinance. 

Alarm, 9:27 a.m.: 600 block of Fifth Street. 

Suspicious conditions, 11:36 a.m.: 100 block of Tanbark Circle. 

Found property, 1:22 p.m.: A vehicle key was found in the 800 block of Chetco Avenue. 

Found property, 1:28 p.m. An Oregon driver license was found in front of Brookings Police Department. 

Loud noise, 4:29 p.m.: 700 block of Old County Road. 

Loud noise, 10:31 p.m.: 1200 block of Ransom Avenue. 


Sunday, May 23

Disorderly conduct, 1:29 a.m.: Clifford Kamph County Park. Del Norte County Sheriff’s Office was advised.

Suspicious conditions, 2:23 a.m.: Old County Road at Pacific Avenue. 

Suspicious conditions, 2:35 a.m.: Commercial boat docks at the Port of Brookings Harbor. 

Loud noise, 6:19 a.m.: 1200 block of Moore Street. 

Juvenile problem, 11:29 a.m.: An anonymous caller reported children playing in the street on Cypress Street. 

Suspicious conditions, 3:34 p.m.: 1000 block of Chetco Avenue.  

Fight, 4:14 p.m.: 1400 block of Seacrest Lane.

Driving complaint, 5:31 p.m.: A citizen reported seeing a man driving a Mercedes with Nevada plates leaving Harris Beach State Park, drinking from a whiskey bottle. 

Possession of drugs, 5:35 p.m.: 800 block of Chetco Avenue. 

Driving complaint, 5:52 p.m.: A woman called 911 to report motorcycles being ridden on Social Security Bar. 

Assist public, 6:04 p.m.: A report was relayed to the U.S. Coast Guard of a kayaker off the mouth of the Chetco River who appeared to be in trouble. It was later learned that he’d lost his paddle and was very cold because he was not wearing a wet suit. 

Animal complaint, 6:42 p.m.: A black Lab was taken to pens from the 400 block of Chetco Avenue. 

Suspicious conditions, 10:10 p.m.: Macklyn Cove Beach. 

Fire, 9:56 p.m.: A visitor, staying at Harbor RV Park saw the steam cloud rising from the mill and thought it was on fire.
