Friday, June 5

Theft of services, 6:53 a.m.: A resident was warned for dumping her trash in the Brookings Harbor High School trash bin.

Misuse of 911, 10:51 a.m.: 500 block of Fifth Street.

Traffic crash, 11:45 a.m.: A four-vehicle, non-injury crash was reported in the 15600 block of Highway 101.

Civil problem, 4:07 p.m.: A Brookings man called 911 to say the apartment building painter is being rude to the tenants in the 600 block of Chetco Avenue.

Hit and run, 4:55 p.m.: A Gold Beach police officer stopped a vehicle that was involved in a hit and run near Beach Avenue in Brookings.

Animal complaint, 5:04 p.m.: A bear was sighted in a yard in the 1200 block of Ransom Avenue.

Suspicious conditions, 7:44 p.m.: 300 block of Fifth Street.

 

Saturday, June 6

Illegal dumping, 11:15 a.m.: A property owner in the 7100 block of Vista Ridge Drive reported a construction company is dumping its trash on her vacant lot.

Found property, 12:40 p.m.: 700 block of Third Street, bicycle.

Hazard, 3:42 p.m.: Elmer Bankus Field.

Illegal dumping, 4:36 p.m.: Rio Tinto Minerals, north of Lone Ranch.

Found property, 7:09 p.m.: Fifth Street and Chetco Avenue.

Found property, 7:19 p.m.: Azalea Park.

Criminal mischief, 9:15 p.m.: A car in a driveway in the 1200 block of Roland Lane was struck by a golf ball believed to be hit from one street away.

Illegal fireworks, 9:23 p.m.: 1500 block of Beach Avenue.

 

Sunday, June 7

Illegal camping, 1:06 a.m.: Mill Beach.

DUII, 2:11 a.m.: A 28-year-old man arrested for driving under the influence of intoxicants at Chetco Avenue and Parkview Drive.

Misuse of 911, 8:44 a.m.: 300 block of Fifth Street.

Illegal dumping, 9:56 a.m.: Lower Harbor Road.

Found property, 3:08 p.m.: One mile north Dr. Fine Bridge in Smith River, Calif., wallet.

Child neglect, 4:58 p.m.: 400 block of Fern Street.

Robbery, 7:08 p.m.: 16700 block of Thompson Road.

 

Monday, June 8

Shots fired, 10:17 a.m.: A neighbor heard shots fired in the 98700 block of North Bank Chetco River Road. It  turned out to be an automatic nail gun.

Escape, 6:16 p.m.: City units assisted Oregon State Police with a detainee trying to run from the vehicle on Hillside Avenue.

Bike-skateboard complaint, 7:24 p.m.: A skateboarder injured by bicyclist in the skate park bowl.

Theft, 10 p.m.: 400 block of Pacific Avenue.
