Warrant service, 12:09 a.m.: A man was arrested for possession of drugs and giving false information to police on North Bank Chetco River Road. His identification was confirmed and he had an existing warrant in another county. The man was lodged in the Curry County Jail.
Dispute, 11:40 a.m.: A verbal argument about civil issues was reported in the 600 block of Old County Road.
Unauthorized use of a vehicle, 12:20 p.m.: 300 block of Fifth Street.
Power outage, 1:41 p.m.: Fifth Street and Chetco Avenue.
Lost property, 1:52 p.m.: 500 block of Chetco Avenue.
Dispute, 5:43 p.m.: Two men having a verbal argument in the 1100 block of Chetco Avenue were contacted and separated.
Saturday, Jan. 12
DUII, 1:43 a.m.: A man was arrested for DUII in the 16300 block of Highway 101.
Suspicious conditions, 8:52 a.m.: An email scam was reported by a resident in the 900 block of Barbra Lane.
Animal complaint, 9:40 a.m.: A black cow was on Highway 101 near McVay Lane.
Warrant service, 11:49 a.m.: A woman was arrested on warrant in the 1100 block of Chetco Avenue.
Forgery/fraud/bad check, 12:33 p.m.: The theft of checks out of Smith River area was reported in the 700 block of Chetco Avenue.
Traffic stop, 3:13 p.m.: A driver was cited for driving with a suspended license and the passenger was cited for open container in the16300 block of Highway 101.
Criminal mischief, 3:59 p.m.: Police received a complaint of children playing on a roof at KidTown.
Theft: Items were taken from a vehicle in the 600 block of Memory Lane.
Reckless driving, 9:21 p.m.: A driving complaint was received for a vehicle driven recklessly and speeding northbound on Chetco Avenue. Officers located the vehicle but no crimes or violations were observed.
Criminal trespass, 11:27 p.m.: A man was arrested for criminal trespass and possession of drugs in the 1200 block of Chetco Avenue.
Sunday, Jan. 13
Driving while license suspended, 12:45 a.m.: A driver was cited for driving with a suspended license on Railroad Street near Fern Avenue.
Suspicious conditions, 12:54 p.m.: A male transient was warned for trespassing on private property in the 1200 block of Chetco Avenue.
Found property, 1:45 p.m.: A California ID was found on Mill Beach and was turned in to the Brookings Police Department.
Suspicious conditions, 1:50 p.m.: A suspicious man with two pit bulls was contacted in the 17100 block of Old County Road. He was looking for mushrooms.
Overdue subject, 6:46 p.m.: Police received a 911 call from a resident concerned about an overdue family member. The person was later found at a friend’s house in the 400 block of Art Street.
Criminal trespass, 8:35 p.m.: 16000 block of Highway 101.
Monday, Jan. 14
Found property, 9:21 a.m.: Citizen found a wallet. The owner picked it up at the Brookings Police Department.
Suspicious conditions, 10:31 a.m.: 17100 block of Eastwood Lane.
Animal complaint, 11:01 a.m.: A mini donkey was found on Pioneer Road. The owner was located.
Child neglect, 1:50 p.m.: 300 block of Fifth Street.
Suspicious conditions, 2:06 p.m.: A suspicious person was reported in the 900 block of Easy Street. It was a family member.
Hazard, 4:50 p.m.: A vehicle was parked in a no-parking zone in the 600 block of Memory Lane.
Loud noise, 5:16 p.m.: A citizen reported loud music coming from a vehicle in the 500 block of Chetco Avenue.
Animal complaint, 5:32 p.m.: A male shih tzu was found at Highway 101 and Pacific Avenue.
