Animal complaint, 3:12 p.m.: One dog lost, another found in Brookings.
Non-injury traffic crash, 3:43 p.m.: A caller heard a noise that sounded like a crash in the 96400 block of Coverdell Road. The caller went outside and discovered someone had drove through a fence.
Criminal trespassing, 4:11 p.m.: A business in the 500 block of Chetco Avenue reported an intoxicated man was refusing to leave the property.
Driving complaint, 4:41 p.m.: Highway 101 near Lucky 7 Casino. California authorities were notified.
Animal complaint, 4:41 p.m.: 800 block of Ransom Avenue.
Fight, 8:48 p.m.: A woman reported an assault in the 98300 block of Cougar Lane.
Minor in possession, 9:18 p.m.: Police were called for a minor in possession of alcohol at a school dance. One juvenile was taken to the hospital and later cited.
Assist outside agency, 9:56 p.m.: Brookings police officers responded to the 98000 block of Hall Way for a report of someone banging on neighbors’ doors and possibly attempting to gain entry into a home with a ladder.
Suspicious conditions, 11:21 p.m.: A resident in the 500 block of Redwood Street reported a car parked on the street and lights could be seen flickering. An officer made contact and found the driver was waiting for her mother to get off work to take her home.
Saturday, Dec. 22
Found property, 7:27 a.m.: A citizen found a bicycle in the 700 block of Chetco Avenue.
Theft, 1 p.m.: A caller reported someone stole her iPad from her shopping cart at a business at South Coast Center.
Driving complaint, 1:58 p.m.: A man was warned for his driving behavior after police received several 911 calls reporting him speeding and failing to maintain lane on Highway 101 between the state line and Brookings.
Unlawful entry into a motor vehicle, 2:17 p.m.: Ross Road.
Information, 2:20 p.m.: Lightning struck the radio tower behind the Brookings Police Station.
Animal complaint, 3:12 p.m.: A large gray and white male wolfhound was found at Chetco RV Park. The caller said he will take care of the dog until the owner can be found.
Theft, 4:48 p.m.: A business in the 500 block of Chetco Avenue reported a man who had stolen beer a couple of days earlier had returned, but had left on foot. An officer reviewed the surveillance video and made a positive identification. The man was found and cited for theft.
Fight, 11:38 p.m.: 96400 block of Coverdell Road.
Sunday, Dec. 23
Illegal dumping, midnight: Trash was dumped over the guardrail at the end of Bridge Street.
Unlawful entry into a motor vehicle, 7:17 a.m.: 16100 block of West Hoffeldt Lane.
Criminal mischief, 9:31 a.m.: Illegal camping reported in a vacant lot on Mill Beach Road at Smith Drive.
Non-injury traffic crash, 1:33 p.m.: A fender bender was reported at Fred Meyer.
Found property, 2:22 p.m.: 600 block of Chetco Avenue,
Non-injury traffic crash, 2:26 p.m.: Spruce Street.
Theft, 5:11 p.m.: A diamond stolen from a ring was reported in the 600 block of Pioneer Road. A suspect was identified.
Suspicious conditions, 6:11 p.m.: A citizen reported the back door unlocked and a broken window at her residence. An investigation determined that it may be weather related.
Assault, 10:50 p.m.: 99700 block of South Bank Chetco River Road.

Loud noise, 2:34 a.m.: 800 block of Pioneer Road.
Criminal trespassing, 5:14 a.m.: 700 block of Second Street.
Burglary, 7:31 a.m.: 18300 block of Taylor Creek Road.
Non-injury traffic crash, 15500 block of Oceanview Drive.
Illegal dumping, 9:59 a.m.: Someone dumped four twin-sized mattresses on Old County Road.
Suspicious conditions, 12:08 p.m.: 600 block of Railroad Street.
Fight, 1:13 p.m.: A verbal dispute was reported in the 16000 block of Boat Basin Road.
Rescue operation, 1:21 p.m.: Sporthaven Beach.

Fight, 3:37 p.m.: 700 block of Pioneer Road.
Threats, 3:53 p.m.: 300 block of Fifth Street.
Lost property, 5:04 p.m.: A cell phone was lost at McDonald’s.
