Monday, Nov. 1

Found property, 11:31 a.m.: A motel employee reported possible illegal camping occurring on the property in the 1100 block of Chetco Avenue. An officer brought an unclaimed duffle bag and backpack to Brookings Police Department for safekeeping, 1100 block of Chetco Avenue.

Hit and run, 11:50 a.m.: An officer responded to a report of a hit and run on Chetco Avenue to find a vehicle with a broken side mirror. The owner was not with the vehicle and no suspect information had been left at the scene.

Unauthorized use of a vehicle, 12:56 p.m.: A citizen in the 96400 block of Dawson Road returned home to find her car missing, but she located it before a stolen report could be taken.

Fight, 1:49 a.m.: 900 block of Marina Heights Road.

Fight, 5:21 p.m.: Officers responded to a verbal dispute between family members in the 600 block of Fifth Street.

Bike/skateboard complaint, 6:20 p.m.: 1100 block of Ransom Avenue.

Theft, 8:22 p.m.: A citizen reported her friend had purchased a bike they later discovered had been stolen. An officer advised the party to bring the bike in to the police department.

Driving while suspended, 9:24 p.m.: A female at Heron Ridge Apartments was cited for driving while her license was suspended.

Found property, 9:41 a.m.: Fleet Street.

Hit and run, 9:52 a.m.: A shopper was advised that someone hit the rear end of his car while it was parked in a parking lot in Brookings. No suspect information was available.

 

Tuesday, Nov. 2

Criminal mischief, 9:06 a.m.: 500 block of Railroad Street.

Theft, 10:06 a.m.: 900 block of Chetco Avenue.

Non-injury traffic crash, 2:59 p.m.: Kalmiopsis Elementary School.

Suspicious conditions, 3:46 p.m.: 900 block of Midland Way.

Found property, 6:26 p.m.: Dawson Road and Highway 101.

Juvenile problem, 6:42 p.m.: 700 block of Fifth Street.

Alarm, 8:01 p.m.: 800 block of Elk Drive.

Suspicious conditions, 10:10 p.m.: 1100 block of Sandy Lane.

Suspicious conditions, 10:56 p.m.: 500 block of Ransom Street.

 

Wednesday, Nov. 3

Suspicious conditions, 5:50 a.m.: Highway 101 near Arch Rock.

Suspicious conditions, 9:34 a.m.: 800 block of Old County Road.

Non-injury traffic accident, 12:14 p.m.: 800 block of Elk Drive.

Injury traffic crash, 3:11 p.m.: Highway 101, a half mile south of Cape Ferrelo.

Threats, 5:38 p.m.: 98000 block of Hall Way.

Harassment, 5:47 p.m.: 500 Fern Avenue.

Fight, 5:33 p.m.: 14400 block of Stateline Lane.

Suspicious conditions, 7:56 p.m.: 500 block of Fern Street.

Unlawful entry of a motor vehicle, 8:04 p.m.: 500 block of Velopa Court.

Criminal trespass, 8:24 p.m.: 800 block of Kevin Place.

Loud noise, 8:42 p.m.: 300 block of Alder Street.
