Tuesday, March 17 Suspicious conditions, 1:05 a.m.: A male transient given directions to the mission after being found on vacant residential property in the 400 block of Fir Street. Theft, 8:35 a.m.: Tax paperwork was stolen from the 900 block of Third Street. Traffic crash, 11:58 a.m.: Brookings area, fender bender. Theft, 1:23 p.m.:Cookie dough money was stolen from the 600 block of Easy Street. Traffic crash, 2:15: Injury reported in vehicle-bicycle crash at Alder and Maple streets. Hit and run, 3:57 p.m.: 500 block of Chetco Avenue, parties later were able to exchange information. Misuse of 911, 453 p.m.: 500 block of Fifth Street. Lost property, 5:36 p.m.: 1100 block of Chetco Avenue, cell phone. Dispute, 9:25 p.m.: 96900 block of Hampton Road. Wednesday, March 18 Suspicious conditions, 5:28 a.m.: A suspicious vehicle was in the Fred Meyer employee parking. Hit and run, 9:12 a.m.: 600 block of Hemlock Street. Harassment, 10:14 a.m.: A woman in the 800 block of Old County Road reporting being harassed by her mother was advised to initiate a restraining order. Dispute, 12:13 p.m.: A 20-year-old man was arrested in an Azalea Park parking lot on two warrants and will also be charged with resisting arrest and criminal mischief after damaging a patrol car; will also be charged with possession of meth. Criminal mischief, 1:31 p.m.: 500 block of Fifth Street. Criminal trespass, 4:11 p.m.: A Brookings woman received a call at work from a man stating he was inside her residence in the 400 block of Maple Street and was collecting his personal property. Violation restraining order, 4:31 p.m.: A Minnesota man violated his restraining order by trying to contact his children by phone. Thursday, March 19 Criminal mischief, 7:48 a.m.: Capella by the Sea in Azalea Park. Drug information, 10:08 a.m.: 300 block of Fifth Street. Hit and run, 10:49 a.m.: 800 block of Chetco Avenue. Theft, 2:03 p.m.: 600 block of Easy Street. Fire, 4:52 p.m.: 400 block of Chetco Avenue. |
