Monday, June 7

Suspicious conditions, 1:17 a.m.: 1100 block of Chetco Avenue.

Criminal mischief, 6:05 a.m.: Tires thought to have been slashed only had the air let out of them in the 500 block of Redwood Street.

8:29 a.m.: A Sony Cyberspace digital camera was reported lost in the 300 block of Fifth Street.

Non-injury traffic crash, 10:41 a.m.: Reported at Center and Railroad streets.

Lost property, 11:43 a.m.: 1200 block of Iris Street

Criminal trespass, 6:30 p.m.: 300 block of Fifth Street.

Injury traffic crash, 7:39 p.m.: Reported at Chetco Avenue and Center Street.

Assault, 9:48 p.m.: 98000 block of Hall Way.

Loud Noise, 11:08 p.m.: Heron Ridge Apartments on Fir Street.

 

Tuesday, June 8

Suspicious conditions, 12:27 p.m.: Olsen Lane and Oceanview Drive.

Loud noise, 2:40 a.m.: 500 block of Railroad Street.

Suspicious conditions, 8:35 a.m.: Sporthaven Beach.

Dispute, 9:53 a.m.: 97800 block of Marks Lane.

Theft, 11:31 a.m.: 500 block of Pacific Avenue.

Hit and run, 11:59 a.m.: 300 block of Fifth Street.

Lost property, 12:07 p.m.: A woman said she laid her purse down in the grass at Arch Rock Viewpoint while she attempted to catch a ferret. When she returned the purse was gone. It was later found laying beside the road by ODOT personnel and returned to her.

Assault, 5:36 p.m.: 400 block of Alder Street.

Dispute, 8:12 p.m.: 300 block of Fifth Street.

 

Wednesday, June 9

Dispute, 12:47 a.m.: Stout Park on Oak Street.

Suspicious conditions, 10:31 a.m.: A woman received a fraudulent call from a person claiming to be from Verizon telling her the credit card number on file was not working and asked for a new number. Verizon fraud division informed her that they had received several complaints of this nature and advised that citizens are cautioned not to give out personal information unless it is known who it is given to.

Dispute, 3:11 p.m.: 15700 block of Highway 101.

Information, 5 p.m.: Police received several complaints of someone trying to retrieve credit card numbers by way of a text message claiming to be from Umpqua Bank. The message included a phone number to call.

Tree down, 10:02 p.m.: Highway 101 and West Harris Heights Road.

Dispute, 11:14 p.m.: A bartender reported a fight in the 98100 block of West Benham Lane.
