Harassment, 9:07 a.m.: A prolonged dispute between two neighbors regarding a barking dog was reported in the 700 block of First Street. Hit and run, 3 p.m.: 300 block of Fifth Street. Hit and run, 3:14 p.m.: 300 block of Fifth Street. Criminal mischief, 3:42 p.m.: 200 block of Cypress Street. Dispute, 5:45 p.m.: 97900 block of Payne Road. Loud noise, 7:03 p.m.: Loud music was reported coming from tavern in the 600 block of Chetco Avenue. Hit and run, 7:17 p.m.: 300 block of Fifth Street. Sex crime, 9:21 p.m.: 16300 block of Highway 101. Suspicious conditions, 9:50 p.m.: 400 block of Smith Drive. Loud noise, 10:34 p.m.: 500 block of Memory Lane. Criminal mischief, 11:46 p.m.: Two boys, 13 and 14, were cited for criminal mischief after they were identified as the ones who toilet-papered a house in the 800 block of Midland Way. Wednesday, July 8 Dispute, 8:25 a.m.: 1300 block of Hampton Road. Disabled vehicle, 8:41 a.m.: A wheel fell off vehicle while in motion in the 1100 block of Chetco Avenue. Dispute, 9:41 a.m.: A citizen caused minor disturbance at city hall. Suspicious conditions, 10:08 a.m.: A man selling door to door in the 900 block of Hassett Street was advised he needs a peddler’s license. Criminal trespass, 10:32 a.m.: 15700 block of Oceanview Drive. Lost property, 11:19 a.m.: Lost wallet in Brookings area. Criminal mischief, 12:08 p.m.: Property damage from vehicle collision was reported in the 1000 block of Seventh Street. Dispute, 3:28 p.m.: An ongoing dispute between neighbors regarding barking dog 700 block of First Street. Traffic crash, 4:40 p.m.: 17300 block of Old County Road, single vehicle rollover accident with serious injury. Suspicious conditions, 9:06 p.m.: A Brookings man was warned to not have contact or engage in conversation with females in the 1000 block of Seventh Street. Illegal fireworks, 10:02 p.m.: 200 block of Cypress Street. Thursday, July 9 Misuse of 911, 6:43 a.m.: 700 block of Clair Lane. Misuse of 911, 12:29 p.m.: Theft, 1:52 p.m.: A bicycle was stolen from a residence in the 500 block of Fir Street. Assist outside agency, 2:05 p.m.: Police assisted a sheriff’s deputy with recovering a stolen vehicle near Good Samaritan. Hit and run, 2:18 p.m.: 300 block of Fifth Street. Criminal trespass, 4:41 p.m.: A man came to a door uninvited in the 200 block of Tanbark Road. Suspicious conditions, 6:41 p.m.: Detour signs werev moved, misdirecting traffic at Highway 101 and North Bank Chetco River Road. Fire, 7:07 p.m.: Fifth Street and Chetco Avenue. Threats, 7:34 p.m.: 96700 block of East Harris Heights Road. Assault, 8:22 p.m.: A 51-year-old man arrested in the 800 block of Chetco Avenue. |
