Monday, Dec. 31 

Non-injury vehicle accident, 12:07 a.m.: Highway 101 south of Cape Ferrelo. 

Prowler , 12:18 a.m.: A possible prowler was reported in the 600 block of Ransom Avenue. 

Tree down, 7:27 a.m.: A tree fell on two mobile homes in the Sea Bird RV Park. No one was home at the time. 

Warrant service, 10:32 a.m.: A man was arrested on a Coos County warrant at Hemlock and Willow streets. 

Found property, 3:34 p.m.: Highway 101 and Pedrioli Drive.

Shots fired, 6:52 p.m.: 1100 block of Rowland Lane. 

Illegal fireworks, 7:25 p.m.: Fifth or Sixth streets near Easy Street. 

Disorderly conduct, 7:43 p.m.: 700 block of First Street. 

Criminal mischief, 9:34 p.m.: 97900 block of West Benham Lane. 

Tuesday, Jan. 1

Loud noise, 1:16 a.m.: 800 block of Pioneer Road. 

Intoxicated subject, 2:56 a.m.: 1100 block of Chetco Avenue. 

Suspicious conditions, 4:16 a.m.: An intoxicated man tried to gain access into a woman’s residence in the 500 block of Fir Street.

Threats, 9:40 a.m.: A shopper reported receiving threats from a transient  and his dog in the 16200 block of  Highway 101.

Found property, 10:35 a.m.: A wallet was found in the street near a laundry in the 1000 block of Chetco Avenue. 

Traffic stop, 11:31 a.m.: A driver was warned for illegal cell phone use while driving at Alder and Spruce streets. 

Suspicious conditions, 3:07 p.m.: A backpack found on Mill Beach was taken to the police station. 

Theft, 6:18 p.m.: 300 block of Fifth Street. 

Non-injury vehicle accident, 7:29 p.m.: 500 block of Fifth Street. 

Wednesday, Jan. 2

Non-injury vehicle accident, 6:58 a.m.: A vehicle went over a bank on Carpenterville Road. 

Threats, 10:29 a.m.: 500 block of Fifth Street. 

Tree down, 10:30 a.m.: Eastwood Lane. 

Illegal dumping, 2:57 p.m.: A report of littering near Lucky 7 Casino was transferred to Del Norte County Sheriff’s Office. 

Hit and run, 3:38 p.m.: A vehicle was struck by an unknown vehicle during the night in the 900 block of Chetco Avenue. 

Found property, 3:46 p.m.: A license plate was found at Fifth and Railroad streets. 

Suspicious conditions, 5:09 p.m.: A report of the strong odor of natural gas was reported in the 1000 block of Chetco Avenue. 

Hazard, 6:43 p.m.: Center Street and Chetco Avenue.

Thursday, Jan. 3

Suspicious conditions, 2:48 a.m.: Police received a report of someone using a laundry room in the 500 block of Railroad Street. Police found the room was locked.

Hazard, 5:36 a.m.: A police officer removed road debris in the 900 block of Chetco Avenue.

Fight, 6:46 a.m.: A civil issue took place in the 16100 block of Wedgewood Lane.

Animal complaint, 7:13 p.m.: An aggressive dog at large was reported in the 500 block of Spruce Street.

Animal complaint, 9:16 p.m.: A deer was struck by a vehicle on the Chetco River bridge. A get-well-soon balloon was placed on the carcass by a kind passerby.

Transient information, 9:33 p.m.: A transient refused to leave the restroom of a business in the 500 block of Chetco Avenue.

Shots fired, 11:19 p.m.: Police received multiple calls regarding shots fired that may have been illegal fireworks in the Marina Heights area.

Suspicious conditions, 11:54 p.m.: A person was being loud in the 200 block of Wharf Street.
