Harassment, 10:18 a.m.: 400 block of Fir St.

Burglary, , 12:12 p.m.: 1100 block of Chetco Ave.

Fire, 1:44 p.m.: 15500 block of Pedrioli Drive.

Accident, 1:48 p.m.: An injury accident was reported in the 300 block of Fifth St.

Burglary, 1:54 p.m.: 400 block of Mill Beach Road.

Found property, 3:28 p.m.: 500 block of Chetco Avenue.

Violation of city ordinance, 3:40 p.m.: Brookings skate park.

Loud noise, 10:48 p.m.: 98400 block of North Bank Chetco River Road.

 

Sunday, Dec. 27

Criminal mischief, 12:29 a.m.: Someone placed a traffic cone in the middle of the road at the south end of the Dot Martin Bridge.

Assist public, 9:33 a.m.: A person visiting from Grants Pass reported seeing a body floating in the ocean off Sporthaven Beach. The Coast Guard confirmed that it was a man surfing.

Criminal mischief, 4:04 p.m.: A vehicle was keyed while parked in the 1000 block of Chetco Avenue.

Fight, 4:26 p.m.: 300 block of Alder St.

 

Monday, Dec. 28

Suspicious conditions, 12:08 a.m.: 900 block of Helen Lane.

Found property, 10:21 a.m.: 400 block of Hemlock Street.

Fight, 10:53 a.m.: 700 block of Spruce Street.

Harassment, 3:56 p.m.: Port of Brookings Harbor.

Suspicious conditions, 5:35 p.m.: Near Pioneer Road and Hassett Street.

Criminal mischief, 8:05 p.m.: 16900 block of Pacific View Drive.

Hit and run, 11:34 p.m.: 600 block of Chetco Avenue.

 

Tuesday, Dec. 29

Theft, 1:13 p.m.: 900 block of Seventh Street.

Assault, 2:33 p.m. When a man, described as having long white hair and a beard, was asked not to use his cell phone inside Chetco Community Public Library, he became angry then cursed and pulled the hair of a library volunteer. Police could not locate the man.

Animal complaint, 6:16 p.m.: A black and white spaniel was found on Meadow Lane.

 

Wednesday, Dec. 30

Forgery, 12:09 p.m.: 900 block of Chetco Avenue.

Theft, 4:34 p.m.: A man on Richard Street went to get his snowboards out of storage and discovered them missing.

Animal complaint, 6:01: A Siberian husky was missing from the 400 block of Fir Street.

Fight, 6:02 p.m.: 800 block of Highland Avenue.

Suspicious conditions, 6:21 p.m.: 200 block of Del Norte Lane.

Harassment, 7:10 p.m.: 400 block of Fir Street.

Hazard, 8:56 p.m.: A citizen  in the 98200 block of North Bank Chetco River Road reported a transformer on a power pole was making a humming sound. Harbor Fire was dispatched to check and Coos Curry Electric Cooperative was notified.

Suspicious conditions, 11:20 p.m.: 500 block of Fir Street.

 

Thursday, Dec. 31

Accident, 12:13 p.m.: A non-injury accident was reported two miles up Carpenterville Road.

Fire, 12:58 p.m.: 16700 block of Thompson Road.

Harassment, 3:14 p.m.: Brookings area.

Tree down, 3:17 p.m.: Two and a half miles up North Bank Chetco River Road.

Unauthorized use of a vehicle, 3:29 p.m.: 98400 block of North Bank Chetco River Road.

Suspicious conditions, 5:06 p.m.: Parking lot near basketball courts at Bud Cross Park.

Hazard, 6:03 p.m.: Old County and North Bank Chetco River roads.

Suspicious conditions, 9:20 p.m.: 1000 block of Chetco Avenue.

Suspicious conditions, 9:44 p.m.: Azalea Park.

DUII, 11:43 p.m.: Chetco and Fern avenues.

 

Friday, Jan. 1

Fight, 1:12 a.m.: 97800 block of Court Street.

DUII, 1:43 a.m.: Chetco Avenue and Fifth Street.

Minor in possession, 2:04 a.m.: 800 block of Chetco Avenue.

Fight, 4:07 a.m.: 600 block of Old County Road.

Criminal mischief, 9:05 a.m.: Harris Beach State Park.
