Friday, Sept. 20 

Alarm, 7:31 a.m.: Brookings fire units responded to an alarm at a residential care facility in the 200 block of Cove Road. There was no fire, just overcooked food. 

Alarm, 7:48 a.m.: Officers responded to an alarm at a business in the 600 block of Fifth Street. It was an employee error. 

Suspicious conditions, 8:16 a.m.: A citizen reported a male standing in the middle of the road putting his hands over his face when cars went by at Chetco and Hillside avenues. Officers checked the area but were unable to locate the man. 

Unauthorized use of a vehicle, 9:55 a.m.: 500 block of Railroad Street. 

Storm problem, 12:30 p.m.: Public works cleared a debris-blocked culvert at Buena Vista Loop and Memory Lane. 

Driving complaint, 12:26 p.m.: A citizen reported an elderly woman driving poorly in a parking lot in the 300 block of Fifth Street. An officer was unable to locate the driver because of a delay in reporting. 

Dispute/fight, 4:53 p.m.: 1100 block of Chetco Avenue. 

Hit and run, 7:58 p.m.: Hit and run suspect caused property damage on Foster Road off South Bank Chetco River Road, then fled. 

Panhandling, 8:11 p.m.: A panhandler was bothering customers and employees at a drive thru in the 300 block of Chetco Avenue, but moved along before officers could respond. 

Criminal mischief, 9:37 p.m.: 700 block of Chetco Avenue. 

Saturday, Sept. 21

Sunday Sept. 22

Hazard, 11:24 a.m.: 16800 block of Highway 101. 

Storm problem, 1:08 p.m.: 1100 block of Chetco Avenue. 

Non-injury vehicle accident, 1:50 p.m.: Highway 101 and Carpenterville Road. 

Non-injury vehicle accident, 2 p.m.; Alder Street. 

Recovery of stolen vehicle, 2:22 p.m.: West Benham and Highway 101. 

Storm problem, 3:31 p.m.: 700 block of First Street. 

Disorderly conduct, 5:36 p.m.: Alder Street. 

Suspicious conditions, 6:03 p.m.: 500 block of Chetco Avenue. 

Monday, Sept. 23

Criminal mischief, 1:33 a.m.: 600 block of Spruce Drive. 

Hazard, 6:18 a.m.: South Bank Chetco River Road. 

Lost property, 8:03 a.m.: 16200 block of Highway 101. 

Dispute/fight, 8:37 a.m.: Fifth Street and Ransom Avenue. 

Water problem, 9:08 a.m.: 400 block of Arnold Lane. 

Fire, 9:13 a.m.: Brookings Fire unit responded to 15600 block of Pelican Path.

Injury vehicle accident, 1:13 p.m.: Duley Creek, 3 miles up Carpenterville Road. 

Theft, 2:45 p.m.: North Bank Chetco River Road at Botanical Gardens. 

Suspicious conditions, 3:44 p.m.: 300 block of Fifth Street. 

Fire, 4:24 p.m.: Harbor Fire responded to 98000 Gerlach Lane. 

Illegal camping, 5:51 p.m.: 500 block of Arnold Lane. 

Found property, 6:23 p.m.: 500 block of Chetco Avenue. 

Harassment, 8:23 p.m.: 99100 block of East Freeman Lane. 

Possession of drugs, 10:443 p.m.: A driver was cited on charges of possession of less than 1 ounce marijuana during a traffic stop. 

Fire, 11:25 p.m.: Harbor Fire responded, and extinguished a fire, in the 97900 block of Payne Road.
