Tuesday, Sept. 17 

Non-injury vehicle accident, 6:49 a.m.: Highway 101 and Lone Ranch Parkway. 

Suspicious conditions, 8:22 a.m.: 500 block of Pacific Avenue. 

Juvenile problem, 10:55 a.m.: 600 block of Easy Street. 

 Found property, 3:58 p.m.: Brookings. 

Theft, 7:16 p.m.: 16100 block of Highway 101. 

Disorderly conduct, 10:06 p.m.: 800 block of Pioneer Road. 

Wednesday, Sept. 18 

Lost property, 9 a.m.: 300 block of Fifth Street. 

Littering, 8 a.m.: A citizen observed a driver throw a lit cigarette from his window near Cape Sebastian. 

Animal complaint, 11:57 a.m.: An officer was unable to catch two small dogs with no collars that were running at large near Easy Street and Fern Avenue. 

Hazard, 1:53 p.m.: A citizen called 911 reporting a deer as a traffic hazard at Chetco Avenue and Center Street. 

Theft, 2:30 p.m.: A woman was arrested for shoplifting at Fred Meyer.

Theft, 3:17 p.m.: The theft of two longboards from the electronics entrance at Fred Meyer happened while their owners were inside the store. 

Transient information, 4:06 p.m.: An officer checked Mill Beach for reports of transients camping. 

Forgery/fraud/bad check,  5:46 p.m.: 200 block of Wharf Street. 

Driving while suspended, 6:14 p.m.: 500 block of Chetco Avenue. 

Information, 8:04 p.m.: An officer provided a courtesy transport of a juvenile to her residence after dark. 

Transient information, 8:43 p.m.: Transients were reportedly setting up camp behind a business in the 1100 block of Chetco Avenue, but responding officers could not locate them. 

Suspicious conditions, 10:11 p.m.: An lone employee closing up a business in the 700 block of Chetco Avenue was concerned about a transient who had been hanging out nearby for hours.

In addition to the citations issued, Brookings Police made many traffic stops issuing warnings for speed, as well as other infractions.

Thursday, Sept. 19 

Theft, 4:10 a.m.: 18700 block of Carpenterville Road. 

Found property, 9:46 a.m.: 900 block of Midland Avenue. 

Probation violation, 10:11 a.m.: An adult woman in the 200 block of Lilac Lane was arrested for probation violation and transported to jail. 

Dispute/fight, 10:28 a.m.: Officers were unable to locate two people who apparently had a dispute while walking in the area of Easy and Hawthorn streets. 

Suspicious conditions, 1:07 p.m.: Highway 101 and Easy Street. 

Intoxicated subject, 2:39 p.m.: 400 block of Oak Street. 

Criminal trespass, 3:44 p.m.: An adult male transient interrupting dance classes the last two days in the 400 block of Oak Street was formally told he may not return. 

DUII, 4:24 p.m.: An adult man was arrested for DUII at Harris Beach State Park and released to a sober family member. 

Hazard, 5:37 p.m.: 15600 block of Highway 101. 

Non-injury vehicle accident, 5:55 pm.: An officer responded to a report of a two-vehicle non-injury vehicle crash in the 1100 block of Chetco Avenue and assisted parties with information exchange. Both vehicles were driveable, and parties were advised to complete DMV accident report if damage is in excess of $1,500. 

Suspicious conditions, 7:16 p.m.: 400 block of Redwood Street. 

Possession of drugs, 8:13 p.m.: Four people were contacted at a vacant residence in the 16800 block of Marine Drive. Two were cited for  possession of controlled substance less than 1 ounce marijuana. Two juveniles were released to their parents.
