Friday, Nov. 15
Fire, 12:01 a.m.: 98800 block of North Bank Chetco River Road.
Burglary, 10:58 a.m.: 96400 block of Shorewood Terrace.
Identity theft, 1:31 p.m.: 500 block of Railroad Street.
Hazard, 3:35 p.m.: Highway 101 near milepost 342.
Unlawful entry of a vehicle, 4:31 p.m.: 400 block of Arnold Lane.
Non-injury vehicle accident, 16200 block of Highway 101.
Criminal mischief, 9:12 p.m.: 600 block of Old County Road.
Hit and run, 9:46 p.m.: 97900 block of Lively Lane.
Saturday, Nov. 16
Suspicious conditions, 3:54 a.m.: A woman in the day use area of Harris Beach State Park was redirected across the highway to the rest area.
Loud noise, 8:22 a.m.: A county resident reported hearing a loud explosion in the 97800 block of Court Street.
Unlawful entry of vehicle; 11:42 p.m.: An unknown person entered a delivery truck parked in the 1100 block of Chetco Avenue and stole items.
Unauthorized use of a vehicle, 1:21 p.m.: A woman was arrested for unauthorized use of a vehicle in the 900 block of Chetco Avenue.
Hazard, 2:33 p.m.: Chetco River bridge.
Hit and run, 3:27 p.m.: 500 block of Pacific Avenue.
Theft, 4:42 p.m.: 16500 block of Oceanview Drive.
Fire, 4:49 p.m.: Brookings and Harbor fire units responded to multiple 911 reports of a business on fire at the port. The proprietor was contacted and also responded.
Overdue subject, 5:41 p.m.: A volunteer at Harris Beach was concerned about a vehicle parked unoccupied in the day-use area as she had checked the beach and not found anyone. Officers located the owner of the car and her passenger, who were fine. They didn’t realized they were in a day use area and moved along.
Bike/skateboard complaint, 6:17 p.m.: A juvenile riding his bike with no lights and no brakes at Ross Road and Elk Drive was picked up by a parent after having contact with an officer.
Sunday, Nov. 17
Animal complaint, 4:01 a.m.: An officer was unable to locate a German shepherd that had been reported running at large near Alder and Spruce streets.
Possession of drugs, 7:13 a.m.: A woman in the 1300 block of English Court was arrested for possession of meth and transported to jail.
Suspicious conditions, 2:24 p.m.: 600 block of Old County Road.
Hazard, 2:43 p.m.: 16200 block of Highway 101.
Found property, 4:24 p.m.: A wallet left at a business in the 500 block of Chetco Avenue was returned to its rightful owner.
Suspicious conditions, 5:24 p.m.: 200 block of Cypress Street.
Found property, 7:57 p.m.: A cell phone found in the 800 block of Elk Drive was turned in to lost and found at Brookings Police Department.
Injury vehicle accident, 8:53 p.m.: North Bank Chetco River and Thompson roads.
Monday, Nov. 18
Assault, 2:12 a.m.: An officer investigated a report of a dispute which had occurred at a local motel. The suspect fled to Harbor via taxi.
Dispute/fight, 4:22 a.m.: A verbal dispute between a man and a woman was reported in the 500 block of Fir Street. An officer spoke to both parties and determined no injuries. The man left for the remainder of the morning.
Suspicious conditions, 12:53 p.m.: 98435 North Bank Chetco River Road.
Theft, 2:40 p.m.: 98100 block of West Benham Lane.
Found property, 3:31 p.m.: Two credit cards found in the 1100 block of Chetco Avenue were turned in to Brookings Police Department lost and found. The owner was contacted and was going to pick them up.
Non-injury vehicle accident, 7:45 p.m.: 1100 block of Chetco Avenue.
