Information, 12:22 a.m.: An officer checked a vehicle with its dome light on at the end of Ransom Avenue. It was unoccupied and secured.
Suspicious conditions, 3:46 a.m.: 17200 Parkview Drive.
Misuse of 911, 6:55 a.m.: A citizen in the 1300 block of Heather Lane was shutting off an alarm on their cell phone and accidentally activated 911. Contact was made. Citizen was all right. Misuse of 911 was unintentional.
Assist public, 8:51 a.m.: Police assisted an elderly citizen with phone service problems in the 300 block of Birch Street.
Intoxicated subject, 10:14 a.m.: A person reportedly blocking a door in the 400 block of Fir Street was told to move on.
Non-injury vehicle accident, 10:37 a.m.: A vehicle owner reported a minor fender bender that occurred last week for insurance purposes. The collision occurred in the 300 block of Fifth Street.
Theft. 10:59 a.m.: Officers took theft report at Pioneer Road and Oak Street.
Non-injury vehicle accident, 12:25 p.m.: A non-injury vehicle accident was reported in the Fred Meyer parking lot.
Warrant service, 2:18 p.m.: An officer arrested an adult male on a valid, extraditable warrant out of Idaho in the 900 block of Krista Lane.
Harassment, 2:31 p.m.: An adult female was cited for physical harassment in the 1000 block of Chetco Avenue after a fight with her mom in their car.
Suspicious conditions, 3:47 p.m.: An adult male reported being followed to his place of business by a suspicious vehicle. He will call if this occurs again.
Non-injury vehicle accident, 4:15 p.m.: 16100 block of Highway 101.
Theft, 4:57 p.m.: An officer took two-week-old theft report from citizen in the 1700 block of Arch Lane.
Hazard, 4:57 p.m.: A citizen reported a downed wire across the road at Memory Lane and Alder Street. An officer checked and found it to be some sort of measuring or counting device and was not a hazard.
Criminal trespass: An adult male transient was told to leave the VFW Hall.
Suspicious conditions, 7:45 p.m.: A suspicious person at Marina Heights and Old County roads was someone doing yard work for a neighbor.
Warrant service, 11:05 p.m.: An adult female was arrested on two warrants out of Reedsport and North Bend for identity theft and fraud.
Wednesday, May 1
Fire: Multiple 911 calls regarding a fire on or near the South Jetty at the Port of Brookings Harbor were received. Harbor Fire responded and determined it to be in the driftwood, so Coos Forest Patrol responded to put it out.
Suspicious conditions, 4:03 a.m.: A citizen in the 400 block of Linden Lane requested officer check out flashing lights in the area. The officer determined the lights were probably coming from the Harbor Fire trucks down in the port near the South Jetty. No suspicious lights or conditions were noted in the neighborhood.
Harassment, 5:37 a.m.: 500 block of Fir Street.
Dispute/fight, 9:03 a.m.: East Hoffeldt Lane and Highway 101.
Suspicious conditions, 9:30 a.m.: A person came to the police lobby reporting he was followed through town by a man taking pictures of him. The man who followed him through town was contacted by an officer and was advised his activity was unlawful and to desist.
Disabled vehicle, 12:02 p.m.: Police received a report of a disabled vehicle blocking a lane of travel at Fifth Street and Chetco Avenue. The vehicle was gone a few minutes later.
Child neglect, 12:14 p.m.: 500 block of Fir Street.
Fire, 1:22 p.m.: Harbor Fire Department responded to 97900 block of Shopping Center Avenue.
Suspicious conditions, 3:47 p.m.: 98000 block of Glazebrook Place.
Criminal trespass, 4:10 p.m.: 300 block of Fifth Street.
Dispute/fight, 4:20 p.m.: 400 block of Fir Street.
Suspicious conditions, 10:20 p.m.: Police received a suspicious vehicle complaint regarding a truck that was driving erratically up and down Parkview Drive that was now stopped in the middle of the road. Officers arrived on scene, spoke with the caller and were unable to locate the vehicle in the area.
Burglary, 10:39 p.m.: An elderly woman found an unknown man in her home at Driftwood Drive and Merril Street. He ran out of the home as the caller dialed 911.
Information, 11:33 p.m.:A yellow lab with no tags was running loose in the area of Azalea Middle School.
Thursday, May 2
Field interview, 12 a.m.: Police talked to people in the day-use only area of Harris Beach State Park. They were warned for park hours and agreed to move to a different location.
Disorderly conduct, 1:11 a.m.: A woman advised an unknown male is attempting to gain access into her home in the 98000 block of Merrill Lane. During the call, banging and yelling could be heard in the background.
DUII, 6:10 a.m.: A driver was taken into custody for DUII following a non-injury accident at Railroad and Alder streets.
Found property, 10:33 a.m.: Several vehicle registrations and titles were found on the roadway in the 1100 block of Ransom Avenue. They were returned to the owner.
Driving complaint, 11:42 a.m.: A driving complaint regarding a possible drunk driver resulted in a DUII arrest by Oregon State Police at Zimmerman Lane and Highway 101.
Harassment, 12:44 p.m.: A report of harassment between two parties was reported in the 300 block of Fifth Street.
Animal complaint, 1:06 p.m.: A caller concerned about welfare of animal left in a car in the 600 block of Memory Lane. The owner was contacted, the windows were down, and there was no danger to the animal.
Threats, 2:41 p.m.: A disagreement between two people was reported in the 300 block of Chetco Avenue.
Hit and run, 3:05 p.m.: 300 block of Fifth Street.
Theft, 3:08 p.m.: A theft resulting in the arrest of a person in the 300 block of Fifth Street.
Lost property, 3:26 p.m.: Alder Street.
Suspicious conditions, 3:57 p.m.: Fifth and Railroad streets.
Disorderly conduct, 5:12 p.m.: 4 miles north of Langlois Market
Theft, 7:08 p.m.: 900 block of Chetco Avenue.
