Tuesday, April 29 

Suspicious conditions, 12:42 a.m.: 1200 block of Chetco Avenue. 

Suspicious conditions, 7:36 a.m.: 16100 block of Wedgewood Lane. 

Injury vehicle accident, 9 a.m.: Highway 101 and North Bank Chetco River Road. 

Unauthorized use of a vehicle, 9:05 a.m.: 1400 block of Glenwood Drive. 

Hit and run, 11:58 a.m.: North Bank Chetco River Road and Highway 101. 

Theft, 12:38 p.m.: 800 block of North Second Street. 

Juvenile problem, 3:24 p.m.: Chetco Point Park.

Suspicious conditions, 7:14 p.m.: 16100 block of Hoffeldt Lane. 

Assault, 7:15 p.m.: 500 block of Fifth Street. 

Warrant service, 9:39 p.m.: A traffic stop on Carpenterville Road resulted in a man being arrested on warrant out of Jackson County.

Brookings police made eight traffic stops, resulting in two citations. 

Wednesday, April 30 

Dispute/fight, 9:22 a.m.: Officers responded to a dispute call in the 500 block of Fir Street that was verbal only. The people separated. 

Theft, 10:32 p.m.: A man was cited for theft, identity theft, and fraudulent use of credit card in the 700 block of Elk Drive. 

Harassment, 11:01 a.m.: A man was arrested for harassment in the 600 block of Old County Road and transported to jail. 

Possession of drugs, 1:59 p.m.: A man was arrested for possession of methamphetamine in the 500 block of Fifth Street, then transported via ambulance to a hospital.

Shots fired, 3:20 p.m.: 98000 block of West Benham Lane. 

Criminal trespass, 4:33 p.m.: A woman was reportedly trespassing at Macklyn Place. Employees will call if she returned. 

Found property, 4:40 p.m.: A woman’s watch found in a restroom at City Hall was turned in to Brookings Police Department. 

Dispute/fight, 5:43 p.m.: A dispute between neighbors was reported in the 14300 block of Highway 101.

Hazard, 7:59 p.m.: At the mouth of the Chetco River.

Dispute/fight, 8:21 p.m.: An officer came upon a family dispute in the 400 block of Memory Lane. All parties were counseled regarding their behavior. 

Non-injury vehicle accident, 10:06 p.m.: 98500 block of Woodriff Lane. 

Juvenile problem, 10:20 p.m.: Officers assisted with a juvenile problem in the 800 block of Ransom Avenue. All people involved were counseled. 

Suspicious conditions, 11:18 p.m.: Easy Manor Park. 

Suspicious conditions, 11:26 p.m.: Easy Manor Drive.

Thursday, May 1

Dispute/fight, 3:39 a.m.: Sunshine Cove Mobile Home Park.

Theft, 11:55 a.m.: Ray’s Food Place.

Harassment, 3:06 p.m.: Harris Beach Rest Area.

Driving complaint, 3:51 p.m.: Chetco Avenue.

Hit and run, 5:03 p.m.: Fred Meyer parking lot.

Assault, 5:41 p.m.: An officer took a report of a juvenile being hit by a stick in Azalea Park. The officer spoke to the parents of two juvenile suspects.

Dispute/fight, 9:02 p.m.: 800 block of Chetco Avenue.

Suspicious conditions, 9:30 p.m.: A Curry Medical Center employee was concerned about a large vehicle full of people in the parking lot as she was getting ready to leave. The vehicle left by the time an officer arrived.
