Friday, May 16 

Minor in possession of alcohol, 2:30 a.m.: Quail Drive. 

Non-injury vehicle accident, 6:52 a.m.: A two-vehicle, non-injury accident was reported in the 16200 block of Highway 101. 

Suspicious conditions, 7:55 a.m.: 14300 block of Highway 101. 

Theft, 11:19 a.m.: Grootendorst Lane. 

Bike/skateboard complaint, 12:55 p.m.: A citizen reported an ongoing problem with skateboarders speeding through the parking lot at The Abbey mall. 

Hazard, 12:55 p.m.: Four people dressed in camouflage carrying signs were walking into traffic in the 400 block of Chetco Avenue. After officers contacted them, they decided to leave. 

Dispute/fight, 5:34 p.m.: 97700 block of North Bank Chetco River Road. 

Dispute/fight, 6:19 p.m.: Officers responded to reports of a dispute in the 300 block of Mill Beach Road One person involved had left the scene. 

Dispute/fight, 6:37 p.m.: Officers responded to a fight between a mother and son in the 400 block of Pine Street. The juvenile was counseled regarding his behavior, and the mom declined to press charges for damages done to the residence and belongings. 

Harassment, 7:11 p.m.: 800 block of Elk Drive. 

Harassment, 7:22 p.m.: A man was warned by officers for telephonic harassment. 

Lost property, 9:34 p.m.: Harris Beach STate Park.

Brookings police made four traffic stops, resulting in one citation for 46 mph in 35 mph zone on Chetco Ave at Heather Lane. 

Saturday, May 17 

Fire, 12:11 a.m.: An officer extinguished a small unattended fire on Mill Beach. 

Bike/skateboard complaint, 12:45 a.m.: A young man was warned by an officer for riding his skateboard down the middle of Chetco Avenue near Fifth Street. 

Theft, 7:38 a.m.: A citizen reported the theft of a purse and miscellaneous items from a locked vehicle in the 600 block of Pioneer Road. 

Found property 9:55 a.m.: A found wallet was turned in to Brookings police and later picked up by its owner. 

Found property, 12:49 p.m.: A Wells Fargo debit card found in the 300 block of Fifth Street was turned in to Brookings police. Information on the owner was unavailable to dispatch, who called the toll-free number on the back of the card. A representative said she would cancel the card, but would not be able to contact the cardholder. 

Hit and run, 1:02 p.m.: 16000 block of Highway 101. 

Lost property, 1:27 p.m.: A citizen lost his prescription glasses in the 800 block of Elk Drive. 

Dispute/fight, 2:50 p.m.: 16000 block of Highway 101.

Lost property, 5:19 p.m.: Brookings. 

Harassment, 8:55 p.m.: County call; 16000 block of Lower Harbor Road. 

Disorderly conduct, 9:43 p.m.: 16200 block of Highway 101. 

Loud noise, 10:43 p.m.: Loud music was reportedly coming from the area of Arnold Street. The area was quiet upon officer arrival and during later area checks.

Brookings police made one traffic stop, resulting in a citation for 58 mph in a 35 mph zone on Chetco Avenue at Parkview Drive.

Sunday, May 18 

Theft, 10:21 a.m.: 700 block of Second Street. 

Suspicious conditions,1:11 a.m.: 700 block of First Street. 

Suspicious conditions, 11:39 a.m.: 96400 block of Shorewood Terrace. 

Dispute/fight, 12:35 p.m.: Hassett Street. 

Burglary, 2:22 p.m.: 900 block of Parkview Drive. 

Illegal burn, 5:15 p.m.: 600 block of Easy Manor Drive. 

Loitering, 5:20 p.m.: 800 block of Railroad Street. 

Lost property, 5:31 p.m.: 700 block of Second Street. 

Disorderly conduct, 7:13 p.m.: 1100 block of Chetco Avenue 

Injury vehicle accident, 9:02 p.m.: Boat Basin Road. 

Shots fired, 10:14 p.m.: 17600 block of Brown Deer Lane. 

Criminal mischief, 10:55 p.m.: Chetco Avenue and Easy Street.

Monday, May 19 

Illegal camping, 7:01 a.m.: Ross Road. 

Animal complaint, 9:11 a.m.: Two great Danes on the loose near Fir Street and Azalea Park Road were later captured by their owner and taken home.  

Disorderly conduct, 12:45 p.m.: A disorderly person inside a sporting goods store in the 600 block of Railroad Street had left before an officer arrived. 

Illegal burn, 12:40 p.m.: 97000 block of Apple Blossom Court. 

Hazard, 4:07 p.m.: 1200 block of Chetco Avenue. 

Dispute/fight, 7:05 p.m.: 400 block of Redwood Avenue. 

Theft, 8:44 p.m.: 700 block of Chetco Avenue. 

Criminal mischief, 7:32 p.m.: 800 block of Pioneer Road. 

Dispute/fight, 9:44 p.m.: 16100 block of Wedgewood Lane. 

Criminal trespass, 9:58 p.m.: 1100 block of Chetco Avenue.
