Tuesday, May 13

Water problem, 7:47 a.m.: W. J. Ward Memorial Cemetery.

Criminal trespass, 9:11 a.m.: 300 block of Fifth Street.

Animal complaint, 10:40 a.m.: 500 block of Fern Avenue.

Assault, 11:12 a.m.: 800 block of Pioneer Road.

Assault, 11:20 a.m.: 500 block of Fern Avenue.

Assault, 11:53 a.m.: 15700 block of Winriver Road.

Driving complaint, 4:08 p.m.: 1300 block of Ransom Avenue.

Loud noise, 5:33 p.m.: 17200 block of South Passley Road.

Disorderly conduct, 6:22 p.m.: 400 block of Fern Avenue.

Loud noise, 7:36 p.m.: 1200 block of Moore Street.

Harassment, 8:22 p.m.: 500 block of Fir Street.

Brookings police made five traffic stops resulting in one citation for 50 mph in a 35 mph zone at Chetco Avenue and Parkview Drive.

Wednesday, May 14

Suspicious conditions: 12:48 a.m.: An officer checked an unoccupied vehicle with its hatch door open on Lucky Lane.

Animal complaint, 8 a.m.: Miller Bar on the Chetco River.

Burglary, 9:40 a.m.: 1100 block of Chetco Avenue.

Suspicious conditions, A woman walked into Brookings-Harbor High School with her dog and a bouquet of flowers. She got a drink of water then left. She did not attempt to make contact with any of the students.

Animal complaint, 1:47 p.m.: 800 block of Kevin Place.

Found property, 2:20 p.m.: A set of dog tags was turned in to Brookings Police Department. The owner was contacted and retrieved them.

Juvenile problem, 3:59 p.m.: An officer was unable to locate juveniles who were reportedly tearing up Stout Park.

Theft, 4:48 p.m.: Medication was possibly stolen from an elderly resident in the 200 block of Alder Street.

Possession of drugs, 5:44 p.m.: A woman was warned for telephonic harassment and ordered to leave a residence in the 700 block of Pioneer Road. Marijuana and drug paraphernalia was also seized and destroyed.

Theft, 6 p.m.: A student’s backpack was stolen from the front lawn of a residence in the 400 block of Fern Avenue.

Animal complaint, 7:10 p.m.: Brookhaven Drive.

Theft, 7:17 p.m.: A citizen in the 600 block of Easy Street reported having bought a vehicle from another person that had already been sold to two different tow companies. The buyer and seller will attempt a civil compromise.

Rescue operation, 7:37 p.m.: Tanbark Point.

Reckless driving, 8:04 p.m.: 97900 block of West Benham Lane.

Fire, 9:25 p.m.: An unattended fire on Mill Beach was not as reported.

Dispute/fight: 10 p.m.: 97900 block of Lively Lane.

Dispute/fight: 11:59 p.m.: 99800 block of Winchuck River Road.

Thursday, May 15

Theft, 7:30 a.m.: An officer took a report of fuel taken from construction vehicles at Chetco Avenue and Arnold Lane.

Dispute/fight, 9:29 a.m.: 15800 block of Sea Cliff Drive.

Theft, 10:03 a.m.: An officer took a report of items taken from staff and residents at a care facility in the 400 block of Fern Avenue. The suspect was a resident and all the items were returned.

Warrant service, 10:59 a.m.: Two adults were arrested on drug charges in the 600 block of Easy Manor Drive.

Water problem, 1:09 p.m.: 400 block of Redwood Street.

Unlawful entry into a motor vehicle, 2:48 p.m.: A purse containing cash and identification was stolen from a car in the 200 block of Lundeen Lane.

Harassment, 4:23 p.m.: Neighbors in the 800 block of Joshua Court were warned to stop harassing each other and stay on their own properties.

Fire, 5:14 p.m.: 16100 block of Highway 101.

Harassment, 6:19 p.m.: An ongoing problem was reported between apartment neighbors in the 500 block of Fern Avenue.

Dispute/fight, 9:35 p.m.: 97800 block of Court Street.

Dispute/fight, 9:50 p.m.: Officers responded to the report of a verbal dispute in the 17300 block of Blueberry Drive. A woman was ordered to leave the man’s residence.

Loud noise, 10:30 p.m.: 800 block of Elk Drive.

Loud noise, 11:07 p.m.: An apartment resident in the 500 block of Fern Avenue complained about loud noise coming from the neighbor’s unit.
