Friday, May 9
DUII, 1:53 p.m.: An officer observed a vehicle driven over curbs and turn onto Chetco Avenue into the oncoming lane in the 1100 block of Chetco Avenue. The driver was arrested for driving under the influence of intoxicants.
Non-injury vehicle accident, 12:13 p.m.: 700 block of Spruce Street.
Dispute/fight, 2:10 p.m.: 300 block of Mill Beach Road.
Theft, 2:43 p.m.: 800 block of Chetco Avenue.
Harassment, 6:27 p.m.: A man was warned for disorderly conduct and harassment following a dispute between roommates in the 700 block of Second Street.
Fire, 7:30 p.m.: 800 block of Chetco Point Terrace.
Theft, 7:49 p.m.: Gunpowder was stolen from a residence in the 400 block of Pacific Avenue.
Burglary, 9:59 p.m.: 15700 block of Oceanview Drive.
Telephone harassment, 11:10 p.m.: 300 block of Mill Beach Road.
Brookings police made four traffic stops resulting in one citation for 52 mph in a 35 mph zone at Chetco and Ransom avenues.
Saturday, May 10
Disabled vehicle, 12:27 p.m.: An officer helped a citizen move his disabled car out of the roadway in front of Brookings-Harbor High School.
Fire, 11:30 a.m.: Cape Ferrelo Fire Department responded to the 17600 block of Brown Deer Lane to resolve an ongoing dispute about neighbors burning trash.
Assault,11:50 a.m.: 16200 block of Highway 101.
Suspicious conditions, 11:56 p.m.: Glenwood Drive.
Illegal dumping, 1:58 p.m.: A citizen reported juveniles hitting golf balls in the ocean at Mill Beach. An officer contacted the youths who said they will be retrieving the balls when the surf recedes. No crime.
Non-injury traffic crash, 3:50 p.m.: 200 block of Wharf Street.
Juvenile problem, 6:33 p.m.: An officer investigated reports of children being harassed by other children at Azalea Park.
Theft, 7:30 p.m.: 700 block of Second Street.
Theft, 8:39 p.m.: A woman was observed walking out of Ray’s Food Place with alcohol she did not purchase. She was cited and released.
Suspicious conditions, 10:15 p.m.: Two vehicle occupants were warned that Mill Beach is a day-use area.
Suspicious conditions, 11:38 p.m.: Highway 101 at Lucky 7 Casino in Smith River.
Brookings police made four traffic stops resulting in one citation.

Theft, 3:33 p.m.: 300 block of Fifth Street.
Fire, 4:20 p.m.: 15500 block of Lily Field Lane.
Disorderly conduct, 5:30 p.m.: 16000 block of Boat Basin Road.
Driving complaint, 8:11 p.m.: A report of a vehicle being driven erratically in the 500 block of Hassett Street was unfounded.
Disorderly conduct, 10:13 p.m.: 1100 block of Chetco Avenue.
Unlawful entry into a motor vehicle, 10:42 p.m.: 700 block of Pioneer Road.
Brookings police made seven traffic stops resulting in one citation for 55 mph in a 35 mph zone on Highway 101 at Parkview Drive.

Suspicious conditions, 10:46 a.m.: Second and Easy streets.
Hit and run, 11:28 a.m.: 100 block of Park Avenue.
Suspicious conditions, 12:29 p.m.: 17000 block of Parkview Drive.
Fire, 3:55 p.m.: 12300 block of Highway 101 in Smith River.
Suspicious conditions, 4:39 p.m.: 600 block of Chetco Avenue.
Fire, 6:04 p.m.: 98000 block of Hall Way.
Brookings police made eight traffic stops resulting in one citation issued for 60 mph in a 35 mph zone on Chetco Avenue and Parkview Drive.
