Tuesday, May 6 

Minor in possession of liquor, 12:39 a.m.: Pioneer Street. 

Suspicious conditions, 1:48 a.m.: Police received a report of a man yelling for help in the 1000 block of Easy Street. Officers were unable to locate anyone. 

Suspicious conditions, 4:16 a.m.: A suspicious man was reported in the 1100 block of Chetco Avenue. 

Hazard, 8:40 a.m.: Highway 101 and Benham Lane. 

Assault, 9:12 a.m.: 98000 block of Gerlach Lane. 

Hazard, 11:13 a.m.: Arnold Lane. 

Minor in possession of tobacco, 11:44 a.m.: 500 block of Pacific Avenue.

Criminal trespass, 11:51 a.m.: 400 block of Chetco Avenue. 

Juvenile problem, 12:36 p.m.: 300 block of Fifth Street. 

Disorderly conduct, 2:59 p.m.: 600 block of Chetco Avenue. 

Disorderly conduct, 7:08 p.m.: Old County Road and FIr Street. 

Disorderly conduct, 7:21 p.m.: 16300 block of Lower Harbor Road  

Suspicious conditions, 9:24 p.m.: A man called to advise he witnessed what he thought was a man hot wire a vehicle in the 300 block of Fifth Street. 

Fire, 10:26 p.m.: 99300 block of South Bank Chetco River Road.

Brookings police made nine traffic stops, resulting in two citations, one for 40 mph in a 25 mph zone on Fifth Street and another for 55 mph in a 35 mph zone on Chetco Avenue near Fifth Street. 

Wednesday,  May 7 

Minor in possession, 12:39 a.m.: Pioneer Road. 

Fire, 5:38 a.m.: Pallet fire; Harbor fire units responded to the report of a pallet fire behind Brookings-Harbor Shopping Center. 

Harassment, 10:54 a.m.: 97800 block of Court Street. 

Injury vehicle accident, 11:32 a.m.: A motorcycle crash was reported on Highway 101 near Martin Ranch Road. Two people were transported to a hospital. 

Identity theft, 12 p.m.: 600 block of Old County Road. 

Fire, 12:20 p.m.: Brookings fire units responded to Chetco Point. 

Warrant service, 4:53 p.m.: A woman was arrested on a circuit court warrant and a man was arrested for probation violation in the 1000 block of Easy Street. Both were transported to jail. 

Theft, 5:10 p.m.: 1200 block of Chetco Avenue. 

Intoxicated subject, 5:12 p.m.: 1200 block of Chetco Avenue. 

Illegal dumping, 5:21 p.m.: 400 block of Pacific Avenue. 

Criminal trespass, 8:48 p.m.: A man was ordered never to return to Fred Meyer by store personnel and officers. 

Tree down, 9 p.m.: Public works removed a tree that had fallen, blocking the road, in the 200 block of Allen Lane. 

Hit and run, 9:55 p.m.: 800 block of Chetco Avenue.

Brookings police made eight traffic stops, resulting in two citations, including one for 38 mph in a 25 mph zone. 

Thursday, May 8 

Theft, 2:40 p.m.: A woman was arrested for shoplifting in the 300 block of Fifth Street and transported to jail. 

Disorderly conduct, 4:58 p.m.: A man in the 400 block of Pine Street was arrested for probation violation and transported to jail. 

Hit and run, 5:01 p.m.: A citizen reported her vehicle was victim of hit and run in the 300 block of Fifth Street. 

Theft, 6:01 p.m.: A woman was cited for  third-degree theft  after stealing items from a vehicle in plain view of cameras in the 1000 block of Fifield Street. 

Theft, 8:52 p.m.: 500 block of Fir Street. 

Suspicious conditions, 9:38 p.m.: An intoxicated man on foot was contacted by police in the 800 block of Pioneer Road after a complaint was received that he had been pounding on an ex-girlfriend’s door. He was counseled regarding the disturbance and was headed to a relative’s home.
