Friday, March 1 

Dispute/fight, 8:12 a.m.:  A tenant/landlord physical dispute had occurred in the 17600 block of  Brown Deer Lane. 

Found property, 10:23 a.m.: A small black leather wallet with SWOCC identification was found behind Cafe Creme. The wallet placed in lost and found drawer.

Animal complaint, 12:15 p.m.: A man was contacted regarding his dogs being off their leash and defecating on church property in the 700 block of Elk Drive. The man was counseled on the city leash law and cleaned up the dogs’ mess. He was warned that if it happened again he would be cited. 

Probation violation, 12:17 p.m.: A woman arrested for probation violation in the 600 block of Hassett Street. 

Civil problem, 2:18 p.m.: A woman reported a man was taking her photo while she was walking her dog in the 400 block of Pine Street. Both parties were spoken with and counseled. 

Dispute/fight, 5:51 p.m.: Road rage, a verbal dispute and threats were reported at Fifth Street and Chetco Avenue. 

Dispute/fight, 9:24 p.m.: A physical fight between two women at a business in the 300 block of Chetco Avenue was reported. One woman was arrested for harassment, disorderly conduct, and interfering with a police officer. She was lodged into the Curry County Jail. 

Saturday, March 2

Possession of drugs, 12:11 a.m.: Highway 101 and Harris Heights Road. 

Found property, 7:16 a.m.: 800 block of Elk Drive. 

Dispute/fight, 9:21 a.m.: A dispute in the 16000 block of Boat Basin Road was handled by a deputy. 

Burglary, 10:15 a.m.: The theft from a residence in the  98100 block of West Benham Lane was transferred to Curry County Sheriff’s Office. 

Found property, 11:35 a.m.: Citizen on 911 reporting finding a bike in Harbor. She was referred to the Curry County Sheriff’s Office business line. 

Criminal mischief, 12:49 p.m.: A resident’s vehicle window was shattered, possibly by a BB gun or pellet gun, in the 800 block of Old County Road.

Found property, 1:25 p.m.: A good Samaritan brought in debit card found in an ATM in the 300 block of Fifth Street. 

Theft, 5:15 p.m.: Two 911 calls were received from a person at a laundry in Harbor reporting theft of his wallet  were transferred to Curry County Sheriff’s Office. 

Illegal burn, 7:49 p.m.: A citizen reported the illegal burning of roofing materials in the 97800 block of Payne Road. Harbor Fire checked the area, but was unable to locate the described burn. 

Shots fired, 9:08 p.m.: Loud gunshots were reported in the 98800 block of Pleasant Hill Drive. 

Sunday, March 3 

Intoxicated subject, 12:48 a.m.: A 911 call was received from a boy reporting his mother is intoxicated and had locked him out of the home in the 800 block of Limbaugh Way. Officers arrived on scene and the mother was warned for disorderly conduct. 

Suspicious conditions, 1:30 a.m.: An officer assisted a citizen with a civil matter in the 600 block of Old County Road. 

Criminal mischief, 2:04 a.m.: An intoxicated man broke a window after hours at La Flor de Mexico. He was cited for criminal mischief. He was transported home by taxi. 

Dispute/fight, 2:21 a.m.: 98100 block of West Benham Lane. 

Dispute/fight, 8:51 a.m.: A man and a woman were horsing around in the 300 block of Fifth Street. Callers thought there was a dispute between the two. 

Disorderly conduct, 10:35 a.m.: A man and a woman were warned for cisorderly conduct in Azalea Park. 

Found property, 1:38 p.m.; 500 block of Pacific Avenue. 

Criminal trespass, 4:40 p.m.: 16000 block of Highway 101. 

Suspicious conditions, 7:13 p.m.: A citizen reported a woman in the middle of the roadway on Highway 101 near milepost 352. 

Dispute/fight, 7:17 p.m.: A woman was warned in a verbal dispute in the 400 block of Fern Avenue. 

Dispute/fight, 9:28 p.m.:  A dispute was handled by the Curry County Sheriff’s Office on Highway 101 near milepost 348-349. 

Monday, March 4

Animal complaint, 9:10 a.m.: Several callers complained about a large Canada goose that would not get out of the way on the highway. 

Theft, 10:20 a.m.: A student’s iPod was taken at Kalmiopsis Elementary School. 

Loud noise, 11:17 a.m.:   A citizen reported a neighbor in the 1200 block of Rowland Lane was consistently revving up a vehicle early in the morning. 

Disorderly conduct, 11:51 a.m.: An intoxicated male customer in the 98100 block of West Benham Lane would not leave when asked to do so, finally did. 

Harassment, 1:32 p.m.: The female half of a relationship was warned about harassment and menacing from the male half in the 800 block of Elk Drive. 

Theft, 1:46 p.m.: A stolen bicycle was reported in the 500 block of Fir Street. 

Lost property, 2:22 p.m.: A wedding ring was lost in Brookings. 

Intoxicated subject, 2:48 p.m.: A motel manager requested assistance in having an intoxicated man removed from the 1200 block of Chetco Avenue. 

Dispute/fight, 3:04 p.m.: A third party reported what he believed to be an altercation between two drivers from different cars in the parking lot of Fred Meyer. There were no calls received from any victims reporting a fight. 

Lost property, 4:47 p.m.: A citizen lost a set of keys somewhere in Brookings. 

Suspicious conditions, 5:24 p.m.: A woman advised of a Peeping Tom on Park Avenue. 

Juvenile problem, 5:44 p.m.: Brookings. 

Prowler, 11:11 p.m.: A prowler was reported on a beach shining a flashlight into windowsin the 17500 block of Highway 101. Officers spoke with residents and searched the area, but were unable to locate the offender.
