Suspicious conditions, 7:52 a.m.: Neighbor was concerned for a friend who said she had been locked out of her house in the 900 block of Hassett Street. The situation was not as reported.
Suspicious conditions, 8:16 a.m.: A maroon pickup was parked near the wastewater treatment plant since 2 a.m. An officer was unable to locate the registered owner.
Civil problem, 9:18 a.m.: A vacationing homeowner was having trouble with a tenant on Otter Terrace who was refusing to leave so that another renter could come in. An officer assisted and reached a civil resolution.
Found property, 9:38 a.m.: A wallet was found on Highway 101 and placed in the police department’s lost and found drawer after dispatch was unable to locate the owner.
Vehicle accident, 10:12 a.m.: A traffic crash in Fred Meyer parking lot resulted in one person being transported to hospital and one driver being cited for driving with a suspended license.
Non-injury vehicle accident, 11:30 a.m.: Two vehicles collided in the 1100 block of Chetco Avenue.
Criminal mischief, 11:46 a.m.: Criminal mischief was reported in a bathroom at Harris Beach State Park campground.
Shots fired, 12:48 p.m.: A citizen reported hearing a single shot fired in the 1700 block of Arch Lane. An officer checked the area and did not hear anything like a gunshot but suggested that the noise may have been coming from the nearby mill.
Criminal mischief, 1:06 p.m.: Vehicle in the 6700 block of Jasmine Court was egged sometime during the night.
Intoxicated subject, 1:20 p.m.: A male transient was reportedly using the bushes near KidTown as a bathroom. An officer responded and found an intoxicated man, but did not observe any crime committed. The man moved along as requested.
Driving complaint, 1:42 p.m.: Officers were unable to locate a silver Dodge pickup that was reportedly being driven by an intoxicated driver on Highway 101, near the California border.
Suspicious conditions, 2:06 p.m.: An intoxicated male was told to leave Whaleshead resort by Curry County detective.
Dispute/fight, 2:25 p.m.: An officer assisted a citizen with an accident report in the 200 block of Cypress Street.
Shots fired, 2:43 p.m.: An officer contacted a young man who had been shooting cans with a pellet gun in the 900 block of Timberline Drive.
Harassment, 3:26 p.m.: Information was taken regarding harassment situation in the 400 block of Fir Street.
Theft, 3:35 p.m.: A male shoplifter was cited at Bi-Mart.
Suspicious conditions, 6:15 p.m.: A man was contacted for trespassing on preschool property in the 200 block of Lundeen Lane. He stated that he didn’t know he had been on private property.
Found property, 6:23 p.m.: A bicycle was found in the 97900 block of Shopping Center Avenue.
Fire, 7:08 p.m.: A night light caught fire in a home in the 98100 block of Tuttle Lane. The homeowner put it out. Harbor Fire Department responded.
Criminal trespass, 10:04 p.m.: A caller reported a trespasser in Harbor RV Park refused to leave when asked to do so.
Unlawful entry of a motor vehicle, 10:15 p.m.: A customer at Circle K in Brookings reported that a man in a blue TAPOUT T-shirt had just tried to get into a vehicle that did not belong to him. Officers made contact and determined that the man had left his vehicle earlier at Whaleshead when he was told to leave. The owner of the vehicle at Circle K declined to press charges, and the man submitted to a portable breath test which showed .00. Officer provided him with a courtesy transport back to his vehicle with the instructions that he needed to leave the property promptly.
Elevan traffic stops were executed, including warnings and citations for speed, cell phone use, failure to use seat belts and driving with suspended license.
Wednesday, March 27
Theft, 3:23 a.m.: A Harbor Shell employee had pack of cigarettes stolen from him.
Suspicious conditions, 10 a.m.: 1600 block of Chetco Avenue.
Shots fired, 11:49 a.m.: Highway 101 and Shoreline Drive.
Found property, 1:20 p.m.: 1200 block of Easy Street.
Suspicious conditions, 1:46 p.m.: Indian Sands.
Theft, 4:50 p.m.: Two juveniles were cited for theft and released to their parents in the 600 block of Chetco Avenue.
Hazard, 5:38 p.m.: A roll of twine unrolled across lanes of traffic on Highway 101 at the California border.
Water problem, 6:48 p.m.: 900 block of Marina Heights Road.
Non-injury vehicle accident, 9:22 p.m.: A non-injury fender bender was reported in a parking lot in the 16200 block of Highway 101.
Found property, 10:50 p.m.: A blackberry cell phone was found in the 600 block of Pioneer Road. It was placed in lost and found at police department until the owner can be located or calls to claim it.
Interference with making a report, 11:48 p.m.: A verbal domestic dispute was reported between a man and a woman in the 500 block of Chetco Avenue. The woman was cited for interfering with making a police report and released at the scene. Both people separated for the night.

Suspicious conditions, 6:51 a.m.: 600 block of Spruce Street.
Criminal mischief, 8:20 a.m.: 700 block of Third Street.
Criminal mischief, 10:13 a.m.: 1600 block of Highway 101.
Suspicious conditions, 3:32 p.m.: A complaint was received of a transient at Fifth Street and Chetco Avenue was possibly smoking marijuana. Police found the person only had cigarettes.
Animal complaint, 4:57 p.m.: 900 block of Third Street.
Water problem, 5:18 p.m.: 17500 block of Highway 101.
Disorderly conduct, 6:13 p.m.: 400 block of Hillside Avenue.
Menacing, 8:50 p.m.: A traffic stop in the 300 block of Chetco Avenue resulted in a probation violation arrest.
Animal complaint, 9:05 p.m.: Three complaints were received regarding a dog that had been barking for hours in the 400 block of Pine Street. The owner was contacted and told to keep the dog quiet or inside the home.
Injury traffic crash, 11:22 p.m.: A single-vehicle traffic crash on Forest Service Road 1376 near Second Bridge resulted in three injuries. Brookings Fire Department and Cal-Ore Life Flight responded.
Dispute/fight, 11:56 p.m.: A domestic dispute was reported in the 500 block of Fir Street. The woman was cited for disorderly conduct and the man was cited for interferring with a police officer.
Three traffic stops were executed, including warnings for defective equipment.
