Thursday, March 21

Animal complaint,1:08 a.m.: A goose on the loose was reported in the area of Fifth Street and Chetco Ave.

Dispute/fight, 8:25 a.m.: 200 block of Cypress Street.

 Friday, March 22

Dispute/fight, 4:53 a.m.: 16500 block of English Drive. 

Criminal mischief, 10:11 a.m.: A dead cat was found on the doorstep of a business in the 1000 block of Chetco Avenue. It was later determined this was not a malicious act and the cat just simply expired at that location. 

Harassment, 10:49 a.m.: A man reported being harassed in the 1200 block of Moore Street. It was later determined to be a civil issue between the involved parties. 

Criminal trespass, 12:51 p.m.: A care facility in the 700 block of Elk Drive asked to have a man reoved from property; however, the man calmed down and apologized for his behavior. 

Disorderly conduct, 1:15 p.m.: A woman was impeding traffic and being disorderly for unknown reasons at Fifth Street and Henry Loop. She left the area upon officer contact. 

Hit and run, 1:22 p.m.: 300 block of Fifth Street. 

Hit and run, 2:23  p.m.: 300 block of Fifth Street. 

Theft, 2:54 p.m.: The report of a stolen bicycle in the 500 block of Fir Street turned out to be a civil problem between parties regarding who it belongs to. 

Unlawful entry of a motor vehicle, 3:11 p.m.: Somone entered a vehicle through a partially open window at Mill Beach. 

Harassment, 3:20 p.m.: 16200 block of Highway 101. 

Welfare check, 3:49 p.m.: A resident in the 800 block of Pioneer Road reported a neighbor’s children had been left unattended for an extended period of time. The children’s parent had them in the care of another person. 

Harassment, 4:50 p.m.: A young man reported he feels he is being harassed at school by a female student. Both were counseled on behavior and misuse of 911. 

Dispute/fight 6:51 p.m.: 800 block of Pioneer Road. 

Juvenile problem, 7:53 p.m.: 600 block of Railroad Street. 

Violation of restraining order, 8:13 p.m.: 800 block of Elk Drive. 

Loud noise, 838 p.m.: 500 block of Railroad Street.

Saturday, March 23

Missing person, 7:36 a.m.: 98500 block of Woodriff Lane. 

Fire, 11:26 a.m.: North jetty. 

Hit and run, 12:29 p.m.: 300 block of Fifth Street. 

Driving while license suspended, 8:41 p.m.: Chetco Avenue and Fifth Street. 

Missing person, 9:04 a.m.: A caller in the 19900 block of Whaleshead Road was unable to get in touch with his wife. 

Animal complaint, 11:22 p.m.: Acitizen contacted an officer to advise him of her missing large black Lab dog. The dog was found by its owner about an hour after it was reported missing in the15900 block of Bay View Drive. 

Sunday, March 24

Violation of city ordinance, 12:57 p.m.: 600 block of Old County Road. 

Violation of restraining order, 2:04 p.m.: An officer investigating an illegal transient camp in the 1000 block of Wharf Street arrested one man for violation of a protection order by being in the company of the protected person. 

Illegal burn, 10:28 p.m.: An illegal burn in a barrel was reported at Oxford and Maple streets. 

Shots fired, 10:56 p.m.: Cedar Lane. 

Monday, March 25 

Theft, 1:42 a.m.: A patron of Lucky 7 Casino had her car broken into. The call was transferred to Del Norte County Sheriff’s Office. 

Hit and run, 10:17 a.m.: An officer assisted a driver with hit and run report in the 900 block of Chetco Avenue. 

Missing person, 11:31 a.m.: A California resident requested assistance in locating her brother, who may be living in Brookings. 

Dispute/fight, 2:04 p.m.: A woman jumped out of a vehicle in mid-dispute with a man at Chetco Avenue and Oak Street. Officers contacted and counseled both parties. 

Lost property 3:40 p.m.: A resident reported leaving a camcorder at Easy Manor Park. When he realized it was missing and checked location, the camera was gone. 

Found property, 4:26 p.m.: A red bike found behind Trinity Lutheran Church was picked up by Public Works. 

Suspicious conditions, 4:41 p.m.: A resident was concerned about a person walking in the area early in the morning at Railroad Street and Fern Avenue and requested extra patrol. 

Dispute/fight, 7:14 p.m.: 98200 block of South Bank Chetco River Road. 

Fire, 8:37 p.m.: A citizen in the 14600 block of Sandpiper Place was concerned about two large bonfires on the beach because of swirling embers. Harbor Fire Department checked the fires, which were OK. No action was taken. 

Suspicious conditions, 9:48 p.m.: 1100 block of Chetco Avenue.
