Sunday, March 17
Burglary, 12:40 p.m.: 14600 block of Wollam Road.
Burglary, 2:34 p.m.: 200 block of Matot Street.
Juvenile problem, 3:39 p.m.: North Bank Chetco River Road.
Theft, 4:43 p.m.: A caller reported the theft of a backpack in Harbor.
Suspicious conditions, 6:49 p.m.: Suitcases were left behind in the 900 block of Chetco Avenue.
Forgery/fraud/bad check, 7:45 p.m.: A vehicle was broken into at Secret Beach and a credit card stolen. It was found the card was later used at Fred Meyer.
Threats, 9:29 p.m.: 98200 block of Tuttle Lane.
Monday, March 18
Loud noise, 1:32 a.m.: Loud music was reported in the 700 block of Boyer Court.
Intoxicated subject, 9:44 a.m.: An intoxicated man was reported on private property in the 99100 block of East Freeman Lane.
Lost property, 10:36 a.m.: An earring was lost in Brookings.
Assist public, 3 p.m.: A citizen complained that bushes at Railroad and Wharf streets were blocking visibility.
Found property, 4:07 p.m.: A citizen found a driver license on Fifth Street. Police returned it to its owner.
Bike/skateboard complaint, 7:20 p.m.: Two children were warned for not wearing helmets in the 100 block of Tanbark Road.
Tuesday, March 19
Telephone harassment, 5:12 a.m.: A resident in the the 99100 block of East Freeman Lane reported receiving harassing phone calls from a person staying at a motel in Brookings.
Suspicious conditions, 10:37 a.m.: 400 block of Oak Street.
Animal complaint, 12:02 p.m.: A deer with a broken leg was reported in the 900 block of Timberline Drive. An officer checked and determined the deer was able to get around.
Intoxicated subject, 1:46 p.m.: The manager of an apartment complex in the 500 block of Fir Street reported an intoxicated man trying to get into one of the units.
Hazard, 2:41 p.m.: Rocks in the highway near Rainbow Rock were removed by an Oregon State Police trooper.
Identity theft, 2:53 p.m.: An officer assisted a Cushing Court resident who was the possible victim of identity theft.
Suspicious conditions, 6:05 p.m.: A man wearing all black and carrying a backpack was observed breaking into cars in the 98100 block of West Benham Lane. Officers could not locate the suspect.
Dispute/fight, 6:40 p.m.: A caller reported a man threw a rock and hit his dog at the Port of Brookings Harbor. A suspect description was relayed to the Curry County Sheriff’s Office and Oregon State Police.
Dispute/fight, 7:03 p.m.: A citizen reported an acquaintance was kicking in his door at his home in the 600 block of Memory Lane. Officers located the man who had taken off on foot. He was arrested and transported to the Curry County Jail for his involvement in throwing rocks at people and a dog at the Port of Brookings Harbor.
Found property, 7:21 p.m.: A Hide-A-Key box found in the 500 block of Fifth Street was placed in the lost and found drawer.
Suspicious conditions, 10:28 p.m.: 500 block of Pacific Avenue.
Wednesday, March 20
Dispute/fight, 9:09 a.m.: 15900 block of Carson Lane.
Burglary, 10:07 a.m.: 98000 block of Olsen Lane.
Criminal mischief, 11:11 a.m.: 200 block of Wharf Street.
Found property, 12:49 p.m.: 800 block of Pioneer Road.
Dispute/fight, 1:05 p.m.: A dispute between a man and a woman was reported in the 20300 block of HuckleBerry Ridge Road.
Criminal mischief, 2:28 p.m.: 800 block of Old County Road.
Hazard, 5:51 p.m.: An uncovered culvert was reported at Chetco Avenue and Alder Street. Public Works will be making alterations to make it secure.
Juvenile problem, 10 p.m.: A mother reported a problem with her juvenile daughter in the 500 block of Ransom Avenue. An officer counseled the girl.
