Tuesday, March 12 

Non-injury vehicle accident, 8:17 a.m.: Highway 101 between 2 and 3 miles south of Brookings.

Forgery/fraud/bad check, 9:23 a.m.: A citizen rented equipment with a cancelled credit card in the 700 block of Chetco Avenue. 

Suspicious conditions, 10:48 a.m.: An officer located a vehicle with a broken window in the 500 block of Fifth Street and discovered it had been purposely broken by the owner in order to retrieve some property when the car key was misplaced. 

Water problem, 4:36 p.m.: Oceanview Drive tower. 

Hazard, 7:18 p.m.: Illegally parked vehicles in the 600 block of Pioneer Road were quickly moved. 

Hazard, 7:45 p.m.: Vehicles were illegally parked in the 17400 block of Longacre Loop. 

Parking violation, 8:37 p.m.: The occupant of an illegally parked vehicle near Brookings-Harbor High School was told to move it. 

Wednesday, March 13 

Suspicious conditions, 12:03 a.m.: A vehicle alarm in the 500 block of Redwood Street was silenced by the owner. It did not appear to have been entered and nothing appeared to be missing.

Sexual abuse, 10:36 a.m.: Reported to Brookings Police Department. 

Juvenile problem, 4:05 a.m.: 500 block of Fir Street. 

Reckless driving, 5:58 p.m.: Police received reports of two motorcycles driving fast between Azalea Park Road and Azalea Middle School. 

Dispute/fight, 6:08 p.m.: Location unknown. 

Tree down, 8:11 p.m.: A large branch fell off a tree and blocked one lane of travel on Azalea Park Road. It was removed by Public Works. 

Criminal mischief, 9:50 p.m.: Railroad  Street. 

Suspicious conditions, 10 p.m.: A caller reported a woman running down Highway 101 near Benham Lane in her bra. 

Suspicious conditions, 10:03 p.m.: A caller was concerned about a neighbor in the 1300 blo0ck of English Court who was crying on her porch. 

Suspicious conditions, 10:59 p.m.: Police received a report regarding a person in the 16100 block of Highway 101 who had a warrant out of California. 

Probation violation, 11:36 p.m.: A Brookings police officer made contact with a man who was arrested at the request of his probation officer. The man was transported and lodged in the Curry County Jail.

Thursday, March 14

Warrant service, 12:03 p.m.: A male transient was picked up for an outstanding warrant in the 500 block of Pacific Avenue.

Warrant service, 12:13 p.m.: Hoffeldt Lane.

Dispute/fight, 12:26 p.m.: 98600 block of Seahorse Lane.

Assist public, 2:19 p.m.: A resident requested assistance with dog walkers in the area of Macklyn Cove.

Juvenile problem, 2:46 p.m.: A mother in the 200 block of Cypress Street was concerned about not being able to find her daughters. They walked in while the mother was on the phone.

Animal complaint, 2:56 p.m.: Mill Beach.

Telephone harassment, 4:35 p.m.: 800 block of Limbaugh Way.

Suspicious conditions, 5:21 p.m.: Sunshine Cove Lane.

Misuse of 911, 5:39 p.m.: Police made contact with a cell phone owner in the 500 block of Fir Street after receiving three 911 calls. A child was playing with the phone.

Transient information, 8:06 p.m.: A panhandler in the 300 block of Fifth Street was advised of the city ordinance.
