Friday, June 27 

Theft, 8:50 a.m.: 600 block of Hemlock Street. 

Hazard, 12:10 p.m.: 1000 block of Chetco Avenue. 

Hazard, 2:04 p.m.: A truck parked in the turn lane of the highway was delivering meat to Subway. 

Suspicious conditions, 2:07 p.m.: 13400 block of Oceanview Drive in Smith River. The call was transferred to the Del Norte sheriff’s office

Warrant service, 3:14 p.m.: An elderly woman turned herself in to Brookings police on a warrant out of Curry County. She was cited to appear in circuit court. 

Assault, 4:16 p.m.: Oregon State Police handled a reported assault on Highway 101 near milepost 351. 

Threats, 5:07 p.m.: A juvenile in the 400 block of Del Norte Lane reported threats. An officer counseled all involved. 

Dispute/fight, 5:43 p.m.: Highway 101 near milepost 351. 

Hit and run, 7:01 p.m.: Gardner Ridge Road. 

Fire, 8:02 p.m.: 1200 block of Moore Street. 

Assault, 8:36 p.m.: 16000 block of Kings Way. 

Dispute/fight, 9 p.m.: 500 block of Pine Street. 

Suspicious conditions, 9:16 p.m.: 96700 block of East Harris Heights Road. 

Transient information, 9:57 p.m.: An adult male transient was warned by an officer for loitering at Dairy Queen and disorderly conduct when he was almost struck by a vehicle while crossing Arnold Lane. 

Dispute/fight, 10:39 p.m.: An adult male was arrested for assault at a motel in the 400 block of Chetco Avenue and transported to jail. 

Dispute/fight, 11:31 p.m.: Officers responded to a report of a dispute between a man and a woman outside a residence on Lumberview Road. The man fled on foot and was not located, but there is probably cause for arrest for harassment.

Lost property, 11:48 p.m.: 700 block of Spruce.

Saturday, June 28 

Dispute/fight, 12:10 a.m.: An officer requested a taxi for a person who had reportedly been in a dispute earlier in the 600 block of Chetco Avenue. 

DUII, 12:24 a.m.: An man was arrested and released to sober friends  in the 800 block of Chetco Avenue. 

Prowler, 1:46 a.m.: A possible prowler in the 400 block of Fir Street was not located by officers. 

Non-injury vehicle accident, 9:29 a.m.: A woman was cited for careless driving following a two-vehicle non-injury accident at Chetco and Fern avenues. 

 Suspicious conditions, 10:29 a.m.: An officer made contact with a male transient at Chetco Point after he had been reported to be hiding something under his jacket. He just had his hands in his pockets because he was cold. 

Forgery/fraud/bad check, 10:37 a.m.: A woman was cited for negotiating a bad check and third-degree theft at the Fred Meyer fuel station. She was ordered never to return to Fred Meyer for life. The driver consented to a vehicle search, which yielded a small amount of marijuana and a smoking device. These were seized as was the checkbook for the closed account. 

Suspicious conditions, 10:41 a.m.: Highway 101 and Lower Harbor Road. 

Suspicious conditions,  2:03 p.m.: An officer gave a courtesy transport to a woman from 600 block of Fifth Street to her vehicle at a motel in the 900 block of Chetco Avenue where she picked up the keys and headed north. 

Non-injury vehicle accident, 3:10 p.m.: Following a non-injury traffic crash in a motel parking lot in the 1200 block of Chetco Avenue, one driver was cited for driving uninsured and following too close. Both drivers declined medical transport. 

Shots fired, 3:44 p.m.: 1000 block of Wharf Street. 

Criminal trespass, 4:19 p.m.: 16800 block of Highway 101. 

Found property, 5:06 p.m.: 600 block of Old County Road. 

Hazard, 5:36 p.m.: Mill Beach Road and Chetco Avenue. 

Suspicious conditions, 5:45 p.m. A woman walking into the post office reported two men in an SUV yelled at her and took her picture when she turned around. 

Suspicious conditions, 5:48 p.m.: 15500 block of Oceanview Drive. 

Suspicious conditions, 5:53 p.m.: 15500 block of Oceanview Drive. 

Found property, 6:04 p.m.: 600 block of Fifth Street. 

Found property, 7:42 p.m.: A wallet was picked up by its owner.

Sunday, June 29

Suspicious conditions, 12:18 a.m.: A lone occupant of a vehicle parked at Mill Beach was advised of park hours and left the area. 

Possession of drugs; 12:33 a.m.: 500 block of Hassett Street. 

Suspicious conditions, 2:12 a.m.: 900 block of Marina Heights Road. 

Dispute/fight, 11:45 a.m.: 700 block of Second Street. 

Non-injury vehicle accident, 1:14 p.m.: Fifth Street and Chetco Avenue. 

DUII, 5:04 p.m.: 200 block of Wharf Street. 

Hazard, 5:18 p.m.: Second and Easy streets. 

Suspicious conditions, 11:45 p.m.: 15500 block of Oceanview Drive.

Monday, June 30 

Driving complaint, 2:08 a.m.: Police received a report of an intoxicated driver heading southbound on 101 Highway 101 into California. 

Fire, 10:29 a.m.: 500 block of Fern Avenue. 

Criminal mischief, 11:48 a.m.: 300 block of Matot Street. 

Criminal mischief, 4:16 p.m.: 400 block of Pacific Avenue. 

Hazard, 4:58 p.m.: Easy Street construction. 

Possession of drugs, 8:30 p.m.: South Hazel Street.

Dispute/fight, 10:52 p.m.: 600 block of Fifth Street.
