Burglary, 10:31 a.m.: A residential burglary and the unauthorized use of a vehicle was reported in the 900 block of Hassett Street. The vehicle was later recovered in Smith River and a suspect was arrested.
Injury vehicle accident, 2:37 p.m.: 300 block of Birch Street.
Fire, 3:23 p.m.: Harbor and Brookings fire departments responded to an RV park in the16200 block of Lower Harbor Road for a laundry room fire.
Animal complaint, 4:26 p.m.: A tan pit bull was on the loose causing a traffic hazard at Chetco Avenue and Crissey Circle.
Suspicious conditions, 11:12 p.m.: A caller in the 600 block of Old County Road advised someone violently shook the back door of her residence, possible trying to gain entry into the home. Officers arrived on scene and a large breed dog was standing at the back door.
Saturday, Jan. 26
Possession of drugs, 12:05 a.m.: A traffic stop at Chetco Avenue and Center Street resulted one woman being arrested for possession of methamphetamine.
Unlawful entry of a motor vehicle, 5:21 a.m.: The unlawful entry into many cars on Timberline Drive, View Court, Homestead, Road and Oakwood Court areas was reported. All vehicles were not locked.
Fire, 9:31 a.m.: Harbor Fire Department responded to a flue fire in the 99900 block of South Bank Chetco River Road.
Animal complaint, 12:55 p.m.: A large black dog on the loose was taken in by resident in the 600 block of Old County Road.
Unauthorized use of a vehicle, 2:30 p.m.: King Street.
Violation of city ordinance, 3:19 p.m.: Several people were warned for riding bikes in the skate bowl at Bud Cross Park.
Dispute/fight, 4:10 p.m.: 98100 block of West Benham Lane.
Disorderly conduct, 5:47 p.m.: 1200 block of Chetco Avenue.
Suspicious conditions, 7:08 p.m.: 200 block of Spruce Drive.
Sunday, Jan. 27
Possession of drugs, 1:28 a.m.: Casual contact with the driver of a vehicle on Bridge Street resulted in the arrest of one man.
Unauthorized use of a vehicle, 6:59 a.m.: 14500 block of Highway 101.
Injury vehicle accident, 12:24 p.m.: Highway 101, south of agriculture inspection station.
Found property, 6:38 p.m.: A citizen who found earrings and a necklace in the Best Western Beachfront Inn parking lot turned them over to a deputy for safekeeping.
Dispute/fight, 8:09 p.m.: A man called 911 seeking medical advice for his girlfriend. While on the phone, the manager of the hotel picked up a phone and stated the occupants of the room had been fighting all day. Upon arrival officers located a man with a warrant out of Josephine County, which was non-extraditable, but he was arrested for domestic menacing and lodged in Curry County Jail.
Monday, Jan. 28
Water problem, 7:19 a.m.: 17200 block of Old County Road.
Warrant service, 3:52 p.m.: A K-9 was deployed in the 200 block of King Street.
Theft, 5:25 p.m.: 16400 block of Stitt Lane.
Suspicious conditions, 7:44 p.m.: A suspicious male was reportedly loitering in the 1000 block of Chetco Avenue.
Traffic stop, 8:30 p.m.: A traffic stop on Railroad Street led to a warrant arrest and citation issued for driving while suspended. The person was lodged in the Curry County Jail.
Shots fired, 8:38 p.m.: 800 block of Fawn Drive.
Alarm, 1:01 p.m.: 1000 block of Chetco Avenue.
