Counterfeit, 12:35 p.m.: A $20 counterfeit bill received by a merchant in the 400 block of Chetco Avenue.
Alarm, 2:54 p.m.: 900 block of Parkview Drive.
Criminal mischief, 3:48 p.m.: Reckless driving was reported at Azalea Park. Officers noted tire marks on the pavement but minimal damage.
Dispute/fight, 4:20 p.m.: A dispute between a man and a woman was reported on South Bank Chetco River Road.
Burglary, 4:35 p.m.: 95300 block of Dawson Road.
Suspicious conditions, 5:53 p.m.: Suspicious people were loitering on Lundeen Lane.
Burglary, 6:36 p.m.: 800 block of Kevin Place.
Lost property, 7:15 p.m.: Brookings area.
Disorderly conduct, 9.22 p.m.: Two intoxicated women in the 400 block of Chetco Avenue, who appeared to be trying to hitchhike out of town, were warned for disorderly conduct for yelling at cars who were not picking them up.
Saturday, Jan. 18
Suspicious conditions, 12:08 a.m.: An unoccupied vehicle was reported at Azalea Park after hours.
Found property, 12:40 p.m.: A citizen reported a woman’s purse was found in the 500 block of Chetco Avenue. An officer found the bag was empty.
Assist public, 4:44 a.m.: An officer arrived in the 700 block of Fourth Street and found a herd of deer around a vehicle, one with its head inside the back hatch. When the officer got out of his vehicle, the deer scattered. The hatch was closed.
Criminal mischief, 8:11 a.m.: 800 block of Pioneer Road.
Non-injury vehicle accident, 10:14 a.m.: A mile past Loeb Park.
Theft, 11:18 p.m.: 400 block of Fern Avenue.
Illegal camping, 11:55 a.m.: Vacant lot on Mill Beach Road and Railroad Street.
Sunday, Jan. 20
Intoxicated subject, 8:56 a.m.: 14400 block of Oceanview Drive.
Fire, 12:11 p.m.: Brookings Fire Department responded to a residence in the 600 block of Old County Road because of a suspicious burning smell.
Fire, 2:29 p.m.: Harbor Fire Department responded to a vehicle fire in the 16100 block of Highway 101.
Driving complaint, 4:12 p.m.: A citizen reported an intoxicated driver in a vehicle that was pulled over on South Bank Chetco River Road. An Oregon State Police trooper located the vehicle and found that the driver was not intoxicated.
Suspicious conditions, 4:40 p.m.: The report of a minor-in-possession party near the north jetty turned out to be unfounded.
Driving complaint, 5:58 p.m.: A false DUII was reported in the vicinity of Pioneer Road and Oak Street.
Dispute/fight, 8:14 p.m.: 17200 block of Mountain Drive.
Illegal fireworks, 8:43 p.m.: Police received reports of illegal fireworks on Harris Beach.
Dispute/fight, 9:07 p.m.: 97800 block of Court Street.
Loud noise, 11:29 p.m.: A resident in the 200 block of Cypress Street having loud party was asked to turn music down, and did so.
Monday, Jan. 21
Injury vehicle accident, 6:44 a.m.: Medics and Harbor Fire Department responded and a patient was transported to the hospital after the vehicle slid on ice on South Bank Chetco River Road.
Hit and run, 10:01 a.m.: A vehicle was a involved in a hit and run while it was parked at the Elks Lodge.
Suspicious conditions, 10:20 a.m.: 600 block of Pioneer Road.
Animal complaint, 10:49 a.m: A poodle and German shepherd were loose near Bud Cross Park. An officer warned the owner for dogs running at large.
Found property, 11:54 a.m.: 300 block of Fifth Street.
Animal complaint, 2:30 p.m.: A neighbor’s dog came onto complainant’s porch in the 200 block of Marine Drive and attacked her dog, which now needs surgery. A civil compromise between involved parties was reached.
Tree down, 3:09 p.m.: Police received two 911 calls regarding a tree down on Highway 101 South.
Possession of drugs, 5:28 p.m.: A citizen reported a group of teenagers were using marijuana at Azalea Park. Officers located people and one was cited for possession of marijuana, and a juvenile was warned for possession of drug paraphernalia.
Disorderly conduct, 6:17 p.m.: An adult male transient was intoxicated while in Brookings Police Department lobby, where he made some threats and was subsequently cited for disorderly conduct.
Safety/traffic hazard, Lights were malfunctioning at Fifth Street and Chetco Avenue.
